We found this place by accident years ago. It was amazing then. We couldn't remember the name or where it was when we came back. This time we stayed near Douglas Lake. On r way to PF we passed it. Ate there the other night and it's still as good as we remember. WOW! The brothers and their family are amazingly friendly. They have the roadside produce stand also. Great selection and awesome canned pickles! But the BBQ stand potato salad and green beans were to die for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Phenomenal barbecue!! Absolutely go try some perfectly tender, juicy brisket and pulled pork… don’t sleep on the mac&cheese or green beans either. Great food, good people, and a fun place to sit and eat.
This place is an absolute must to visit if you’re in the area. Delicious grub and great friendly service!
The food was amazing! The people were so nice and showed the highest level of hospitality you could ever experience. My family and I enjoyed every bite of the tender juicy smoked ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. This place it GREAT! Your homey southern BBQ just on the side of the road. You wouldn’t think to stop in but it’s worth the trip. The people were so sweet and hospitable. We’ll definitely be back because of how tasty everything was. There are two covered areas with lots of seating but the seating isn’t super kid friendly, we did manage though! If you don’t want to sit down they have a drive thru and everything comes ready to go.We did wish that pickles came with the meals but we’ll have to come back to snag some.
We stopped here because we had empty bellies after a strenuous hike. It was our best decision yet to stop here. The food was absolutely amazing and we were treated so kindly by the amazing employees. We also met this very friendly, handsome little pup named Diesel. I would definitely recommend the brisket sandwich and smoked green beans if your looking for a satisfying meal after a long day. They also have a cute little produce market with delicious finds. There is salsa, jam, honey, and any kind of fruit that you could want. Bustin’ Butts is the definition of authentic Tennessee barbecue. I would absolutely come here again.
