I don’t care how hard I work, I can not get food to taste this good at home. Maybe I will just move here. DWM
Friendly people, excellent preparations of Southern comfort food, good service. The applesauce is to die for (I can't believe I am saying such a thing) - others agree because when I tried to buy some in their store next door, they were completely out! Unable to decide, I got the sampler platter - can you imagine fried chicken, chicken and dumplings AND chicken pot pie all on one plate!!!! These people know apples, they know food, they know hospitality.
I LOVE, love, love eating breakfast out, and this came highly recommended from friends who had previously been to the area. We went here on our last day in town, and were so glad we did! It was very reasonably priced for the amount of food you are given, which is a lot! I had their Bananas Foster Waffle, which was amazing. Our table also enjoyed the bacon and loaded home fries, in particular.
If you’re hungry and like home style country cooking, this is a great restaurant. The kids were immediately thrilled when Apple fritters with apple butter and apple juleps were brought out. Service was great and they quickly got us in with pretty fast service for a busy summer Saturday. They had huge portions so I’d recommend sharing if unable to bring back leftovers. Soups and Mac cheese were ok and tasted like canned/box styles. Fried chicken and chicken pot pie were great.
My friend and I ate dinner after a long day of sightseeing. We were greeted by a friendly smiling face that belong to Kamala. We asked to sit near a window and she let us chose our table. Emma also greeted us and told us to let her know if we needed anything. The next friendly smiling face belonged to our sweet waitress Madison. She was so attentive, refilled our drinks, stopped by frequently to check on us. We ordered chicken dinner with southern yummy sides. Very quick meal and so good! We loved it here so much we can back for breakfast the next day. Again we were greeting with friendly smiling faces. Today our waiter was Lyle. Very attentive, super fast delicious food. Excellent excellent experience.
We came to enjoy a nice dinner. Granted my friend had a emotional support dog and also has served our country and has a prosthetic leg. It was extremely hot and the server said we could be seated on the patio which was all the way around the back and it was difficult for my friend to walk on the shaky brick walkway. Then the server asked if we would like to sit in the sun or shade. There was no one on the entire patio. We asked to speak to the manager who could care less about our experience. We waited to get any kind of water or service finally giving up and going to a more caring eatery. I feel they were hoping for us to leave. What ever happened to friendly service, I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. Very disrespectful not only to people with disabilities but those who have sacrificed to protect our freedom. This was on July 3rd.
Our first time eating here, it was great! The food and service were excellent, the apple fritters and apple butter were so good as well. I would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again! They also have a store that sells a variety of things including their delicious apple butter!
I love this place. Pictures are from my second visit there. I went last year and have been fondly remembering it since then, haha! Get the cheddar broccoli soup! Our server, I think her name was Shanna, took good care of us and was very sweet.
We ate here while on vacation. They accommodated our large group and everyone enjoyed their meal! Our server, Jordan, was exceptional! The apple fritters were delicious! This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Pigeon Forge!
We went to this restaurant because we were on vacation and wanted something different. Well, we waited about 20 minutes. Boyyyy, I tell ya, when we got to the table and ordered, the food was nothing like the 4.5 star food portrayed in the reviews. The food was beyond horrible. The cheese toast was awful. Please don't order the steak. You will definitely be wasting your money. The cheese on the cheese toast was imitation. I spoke with management and he acted like he understood and only gave us 10% off. I will never recommend ANYONE to eat here. The food is Horrible, horrible.
