This was by far the worst place that we have eaten out. Besides charging us $3.50 a bottle for warm water since they couldn’t serve water from the machine due to a boil notice, the food was horrible. My husband had a chicken salad sandwich and had the chills and was in the bathroom for most of the night, my daughter and I who both had the chicken and dumplings and sweet potato casserole both had stomach pains as well as my son who had a sandwich. The only thing good here was the fritters that they served prior to the meal coming out. It was expensive and definitely not worth the money. Save your time and go to any one of the nice restaurants in Pigeon Forge. This was our first and last time here. It’s a shame because it looks like such a quaint area. On another note, the winery and store were nice.

This restaurant has an excellent menu with something for everyone. Tasty food and fair prices. Next rip to this area we will be sure to stop here.

It was just ok. Food was good but didn’t care for the place itself. Kind of just a hole in the wall that you go up to the outer to order.

This is one of our must do's when we visit this area; food is fantastic and the overall experience is fantastic; from watching them make the pies and turnovers to the shopping

Spent a few hours at the Apple Barn compound and topped it off with a delicious lunch at the grill. Menu is full of great southern meals that taste as good as it sounds. And the complimentary apple fritters and julep put it over the top!

Had to have someone pies before leaving for home ! Did take some home too next visit to pigeon forge going to try the restaurant

Applewood Grill had good food and good service. The apple fritters with apple butter & apple juleps were yummy, and we enjoyed our entrees!

Went for breakfast and it was delicious! The apple julep juice and the apple fritters were excellent. I had the omlet and it was huge. My husband had the waffle and that was good also. We will be returning time we visit the area!

Apple barn use to be a stop on every trip but the past few years I felt like it went down hill. This trip we called to check wait times for them and the old mill. They had no wait which is great with a 3 year old. Mom and my uncle had dumplings, dressing and slaw for one and Mac and cheese for the other. They said everything was amazing all but the dressing. My girl had Mac cheese and broccoli casserole. I had boneless chicken. Which was great and I love their broccoli casserole. Hubby had porkchopss which he loved. We had blackberr y cobbler which was dry. Mom had apple spice cake which is her all time favorite. We had a beautiful view and our server made it the best experience

We were so Looking forward to eating at the Applewood Grill. The fritters and apple butter were amazing. The meats we ordered were delicious and hot however ALL our sides were barely warm. Our waitress never came back to our table (we even found the tea pitcher and poured our own refills). When she brought our ticket we told her about the food and she did apologize and said she would have gotten us hot food if she had known. We couldn’t find her to ask for refill let alone hot food. Very disappointed!!
