We were debating on going to Fort Worth restaurant, but decided not to after looking at the menu and prices online. We had a few more stops to make and decided to go to Applebee’s because it was not busy and was close. The waitress was very courteous, friendly and attentive. Only ordered burgers and soup, but everything was hot, cooked perfectly and delicious. We will be going back again. We have been back- ordered an appetizer along with our meals; the pretzel sticks with beer cheese are stupendous. There has been a young lady working both times we’ve been named Lee. She’s extremely friendly, outgoing, courteous and helpful. Wish all businesses had these kind of employees!
My first time eating there, it will probably Be the last. Pulled in parking lot should have been a clue, hardly anyone in the parking lot. Waiter was nice, served us drinks, but didn't bring lemon in a bowl after asking for lemon on the side. You have to pull the lemons out of your tea to get the lemon juice. As we ordered the guy was helpful to discuss the sides, but charged dearly for it. Ordered the 2 for $30 8oz steaks, come with two side per order, he charges another $10 for the two sides. Ordered medium, well steaks, they came well done and very dry. Said something about the steaks, all he had to say was sorry. The manager needs to train the server's and check on them. I never seen the manager once in the hour that I was there. I give a one star because the waiter did keep our drinks full, but not well trained. I see my the Texas steakhouse was full across the road, and I believe it had a better train staff there, serving it's customers for what they ask for. When someone spends $50 for a meal, they would like to get what they paid for. Go across the street, is a better place to eat.
We decided to eat here last night after riding go carts. We’re from NC and spending our kid-free weekend here. Our waiter (I forgot his name ??♀️) was so nice and friendly. The food was good as well as the drinks ?
I wanted to give a shout-out to the manager this evening who was pulling double duty and running the bar as well. I came in shortly before 8 pm with my two young daughters. We were seated about 30 min later ( they were very busy with large groups). We had some major issues with our food ( after 1.5 hrs we still had no food and other huge groups seated way after us had their food and were already eating ). He came to our table and apologized, went to the kitchen and got our food our quickly after that. I appreciate the taking ownership that he did as well as the apology I was given. He was quite sincere. He took care of our bill which I also appreciated. We are locals and will definitely be coming back. Thank you again.
Popped in late on Wednesday (like an hour before closing), I think we were the only customers. Friendly server got us seated right away with waters and the big margarita special. We shared boneless wings and the Bourbon chicken & shrimp; topped it off with the chocolate lava cake.All the food was good; Server was super great. We were out before the closing bell.
Food was fantastic. Our waiter Eric was the very best waiter or waitress we have ever had. He made our night with antics, service and kindness. He was waiting on one whole side of the restaurant and never missed a beat. Never wrote the first thing down from any order and never missed one item if anyone's order. He had the one whole side of the restaurant rolling with laughter and kept everyone entertained the whole night. This guy is the best server I have ever seen. It is a must when you visit Pigeon Forge, you'll not be disappointed!!!!
I'm sorry. But our experience was the worst.. ordered appetizers. Took for ever to receive.. oh.. forgot to mention that they were not busy at all.. ordered 3 salads and steak dinners .. was looking for our waitress for our salads and we did get them along with our dinners. I replied.. we were to get salads before the meal and her (summer) replied its the kitchens fault.. umm.. no young lady its yours. You only had 3 tables and you couldn't take care of any of us.. also was supposed to get French onion soup and asked you 3 times and finally we told you to forget it. We were finishing our dinner.. also another family was waiting since 5 p.m. at 7:15 p. M. They still didn't have there appetizer. I asked how many waitresses they had.. only 2 and there was total of 5 tables. Oh my goodness.. we spent $100 and left a tip.. totally "undeserved"!!!. I will not be back.. and I'm a local... apple bee what has happened to your business?? Soo disappointed in your company and service
Ended up waiting 50 minutes for food (appetizer) only to walk out. Server kept avoiding table and when asked, said food would be out soon. Finally told us only 2 cooks in kitchen, as others quit earlier that day. On our way out, warned others waiting what happened. No excuse to keep customers in the dark.
Ordered lunch to eat in on Friday. Husband and I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The burger was not eatable. Meat was burnt with no seasoning, etc. Fries were made for a while as they were cold and hard. Servers were unkempt and looked like they just crawled out of bed. Both smelled of tobacco. Won’t eat at this Applebees again.
We stopped here between lunch and dinner. There were very few guests here, and I now know why. The service was fairly OK, but the food was AWEFUL. I ordered the Riblet platter. The riblets were dry, tough, and lacked any kind of flavor. The fries were lukewarm. You could tell they had been reheated. My husband had the Sirloin Steak, which was tasteless and on the tough side. The waiter asked if he wanted his mashed potatoes “loaded.” The mashed potato portion was so tiny, you honestly could barely see them on his plate. They added $2.99 to the bill to have them “loaded,” but you could barely see any bacon or cheese in them. The waiter never came back to see how things were, nor did he ever ask if we wanted refills in our drinks. We will NEVER return to this Applebee’s.
