Totally awesome. Only tried two things I didn't like. Had 4 plates + dessert, a record for me! So yummy and HUGE!!!! The place is positively ginormous.
These 2 vegans enjoyed fruit & veggies with salad for brunch. Salad bar items were avail as early as 830am lucky for us. With resort discount coupon, 1 free breakfast & additional $5.99/ea was just perfect.Staff is working very hard to not have you wait. The food preparers are phenomenal and accommodating as much as possible. If you don't tip at purchase (entrance) leave it on the table...they are trying very hard to keep you happy.Still have gloves and sanitizer everywhere for safety.Would definitely return. Some pics for ambiance ;)~Chicago visitors~
This place was really nice and the staff was very pleasant. On the buffet bar was plenty of choices for any taste or palate. The food was great and they never ran out of anything. Thank you Wood Grill for such a fabulous food experience.
My mother and I ate breakfast here. We were unimpressed to say the least. We have previously ate dinner here and it was great - however the breakfast is what you would expect for a continental breakfast..
Our family of 4 paid $86 to eat and honestly I wished we had went elsewhere. I think Golden Corral would have been a better choice and I’m not a fan of that. Yes there was a large selection of foods to choose from but definitely not worth the price. Food was under seasoned and bland. Meat was over cooked. Desserts did not look appealing. The only thing that I enjoyed was the ice cream. I saw on some reviews the AC was out but during our trip the AC was working. Our waitress was nice though.
Save your money and go to Golden Corral, the only good about this place was the music! A waste of money
We absolutely love coming to Wood Grill Buffet. It’s a little pricey at about $20 per person plus tip, but they have so much food to choose from. The buffet stretches from one side of the building to the other and they have many different cuisine’s to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious! The waiters and waitresses were all on top of their game keeping the drinks filled and empty plates cleared from the table. However, the staff in the front when you first come in were not the friendliest of people. The little gift shop in the front entrance had some pretty neat trinket’s/gifts/clothes/toys. Overall, it was a great experience. Hopefully when we go again they will crank the AC up a little because it was definitely a bit warm in there.
Server gets 10 Stars. Food quality and overall clean. -5 Stars. 11 plates were still dirty with food on them. I had to get a new fork because the one given to me was dirty. Still had food stuck on it. Food was average for the $28.00 per person they charge.
Wasn't very busy when we went, probably around 2-2:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Many different choices of food to pick from of all different styles. The food was good, some tasted better than other items, the fruit was excellent, tasted quite fresh. The rolls were a little hard on the bottoms, and some tasted as if they had been there a while and we're colder than others. Over waiter was awesome, on top of things, always checking in and keeping us filled with drinks and table cleared for us. It is a bit pricey, but again has many different options to chose from. Overall I give three stars, there is some room for improvements, but would go back.
This place is pretty good. It wasn't horribly sticky. Bathrooms are fair. Lots of variety. The flavor is ok. The staff and servers are super nice. It's not one of those buffets that I'd pump up my buddies that they absolutely had to visit. I'd come back. It's better than several others and fairly priced.
