This is a nice restaurant to visit if you're in Pigeon Forge, TN! We went last week for our summer family vacation! The staff was very courteous and our waitress was very sweet! The food was good too! I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and everything was flavorful, hot and delicious! I usually don't order a dish like that at a restaurant because so many places get it wrong that I'd rather do it myself at home..the right way! ...But this restaurant got it right! We enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well! It had a 1940's type of aesthetic to it...it reminded me of sitting on your screened in back porch on a hot summer day with a tall pitcher of lemonade just relaxing! They were playing Billie Holiday quite a bit at the time that we were there and that helped add to the overall ambiance! They have a bake shop on the other side where you can buy baked goods, etc. They also have a beautiful courtyard type area outside with a gazebo and a fountain! Some really great natural backdrops to take some amazing pics and it was nice to sit inside and eat while looking out of their picture window at all the beauty in the courtyard! Since it is summer, they gave us the option to eat inside or outside but it was so unbearably hot down there in early July that we chose to sit inside with the air conditioning! Driving and parking in the general area of this restaurant is pretty tight..everything is sort of piled on top of each other in this particular area so we had a bit of a hard time getting in and out because it's so congested in that part of town! Overall, we enjoyed everything about this gem!
My family and I stopped here for lunch over the 4th of July weekend. We were going to originally go to the Old Mill restaurant but my wife claimed there was more variety here. Boy what a treat this was! I ordered the chicken gumbo with andouille sausage over cheesy grits and was BLOWN AWAY. The corn pancake was a little bland but didn't detract from the experience. My wife had a salad that was exceptional and the kids devoured their meals. Parking is a little bit of a struggle but that's to be expected of this beautiful area. Can't wait to return.
This was the 2nd time we ate here and it was good, service was great. I recommend trying if you have never been.
The BEST. Cheese dip app with their fresh baked bread was a great start. My pimiento cheese burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The peanut butter pie was killer. Best restaurant in Pigeon Forge, no doubt!
This was our favorite place to eat while we were here. My wife got the chicken salad and I got the cheese steak sandwich and both were really good. they make their own bread there and that makes the sandwich so much better. you can tell they out some thought and care into the food they make. everyone was really nice and the service was great. my only complaint is that the carpet in the far back room looks dirty and smells musty. I think it's time to replace it.
My husband and I ALWAYS come here for lunch when visiting Pigeon Forge but this time we brought our oldest daughter with us and we had to bring her to the Pottery House Cafe & Grille for lunch too. Boy, this place was busy when we arrived, gave our names and had about an hour wait but as we know, it is worth the wait! After we were seated inside, we ordered our drinks and the lunch menu of 1/2 a chicken salad sandwich with loaded baked potato soup that same with ships and a pickle. As an appetizer, we ordered the fried green tomatoes with a sauce that was out of this world good!!! Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Cafe and thought the lunch was outstanding as we always do! Thanks again for such a memorable lunch!
This is my favorite place in Pigeon Forge to eat! We sat outside on the patio near the pond and garden, even on this 90 degree day there was a lovely breeze and the atmosphere was great. We had the black bean spring rolls and they were very good. My husband loved his chicken Rueben with homemade chips and I enjoyed the grilled vegetable panini with spinach and cheese and pasta salad. In fact we enjoyed it the next day since we had leftovers. We skipped the homemade desserts but I’ve had pie in the past and they are great! The service was excellent.
The raspberry tea was some of the best Ive ever had, maybe I was just super thirsty… we all got something different and everyone loved what they got. I recommend the pimento cheese burger. It was all very good.
We had the greatest lunch at the Old Mill Pottery Restaurant in Pigeon Forge Tenn. beside the food being excellent we had the most awesome waiter. I thought his name was Tony the girls say Paul however, he was such an excellent server with the most up beat personality ??
We had an amazing week at the DreamMore Resort & Spa and The Parks but our family decided to eat our last dinner together before going home at this recommended restaurant but we’re warned about the long wait times. Much to our (pleasantly) surprise the on line ‘wait list’ option was fantastic! Once we arrived we only waited 10 minutes for a Table for 6. Once seated our drink order and appetizers were ordered. Drinks arrived quickly (sadly the appetizer NEVER arrived) our dinner order was placed. Salads arrived and were fresh, crisp and delicious. The STAR of the starters is the FRESHLY MILLED grains and baked focaccia bowl bread and real butter. Our two grandchildren couldn’t get enough! Dinner arrived and we reminded our server about the ‘no show appetizer - fried pickles) She had them delivered within minutes. They were great! And all our desserts were ‘on the house!’ Burger was phenomenal Steak was cooked to perfection. Tender and the bourbon glaze was the perfect touch! Salad was a very generous portion and the added shrimp was cooked well. Grit and shrimp… yum! Kids meals were also very delicious and fresh! Great portions. Our dinner bill was very fair and actually a welcomed surprise! High quality at a vey fair price. Servers (like everywhere these days ) are overworked due to so many people not coming back into the work force. GOD BLESS and thank you. Such a great dining experience. See y’all next year!
