Not a bad place with the flavored moonshine that is common in this area the tasting is done in thimble sized cups. Their tasting is free and you get 10 sames. The straight moonshine is 100 proof and they did have a 140 proof to sample. They had approximately 18 flavors all at 60 proof and all the ones I had were pretty good. I did not get to try their more aged Rum, Bourbon, or Rye whiskeys so can't say if they're any good. The only big drawback is due to the crowds you really don't get to ask them any questions about the distillery such as materials or what is used for the flavoring, etc.

Stopped in for a quick tasting and had some great recommendations. The special Apple pie was delicious. Service was excellent. There was a great lil store with lots of stuff.
We had a great time at the distillery all the people were friendly and kind. The tastings were free and the product is excellent, not to mention all the great extras to go along with the the great moonshine from t-shirts to shot glasses and anything in between. Really a great experience loved it enough to go back a second time on the same vacation! Thanks old forge for the first class operation!
Cute place... Off the main strip and away from all the cheesiness which was nice. They offered ten moonshine/vodka/rum samples for free. Everyone that worked here was friendly. They just have a lot going on in such a small place. The "cocktail bar" was very tiny. It got really crowded especially by the moonshine tasting bar. Would be better if it was less congested.
Beautiful place tucked away from the craziness of the main strip! There's all kinds of shopping and places to eat but the best is the distillery where you can actually sign up to be taught to forge your own knife while you're there!! Even kids can participate! Amazing!
Great spot! The ability to taste the efforts before purchase was nice. They don't charge.. they just work for tips. Being a 1st time visitor glad to have found it. Went home with a few jars. Thanks again! We'll be back again.
Loved this place! Sampling was so fun and our bartender was engaging and we tipped her well because of it. I don’t even like liquors but these were so tasty and definitely something to experience. Love the gift shop too!
I believe they make the best tasting spirits in the country. When ever I am traveling near TN. it seems like I end up at Old Forge Distillery. They offer free tasting samples, and are always making new flavors to test. I always leave with an assortment of flavors! I love it!
Excellent spirits and merchandise. The sample areas is a very fun experience. A lot of flavors to sample, coffee is one of the best
