Had a bad experience at another MM location so I was skeptical about giving this one a try but WOW! Pizza was amazing, perfectly cooked, and the cheese bread was so good! Staff were wonderful considering we stopped by during the heat wave we recently had, I couldn't imagine working around the hot ovens and a heat index of 105°, but I never heard them complain once. Wonderful place and people!
We ordered a large house pizza, 5 hot wings and 3 drinks $50+ dollars. We got our pizza 1st which was fine and we told our waiter that we ordered hot wings as well. He said he was getting them for us. Well we finished our pizza but never got our wings. Had to ask a different waiter to go check to see if they where ready or had been misplaced. He went back and got them for us but they were already cold. We told the waiter to no avail, didnt even offer to get us some hot fresh ones. So it will be our last visit at this particular location (the island in pigeon forge).
The service was terrible. The girl did not care about us we had to ask several times to get what we were asking for. Another took care of us while the original one played on her phone at the counter.
My family and I went there when we were at the Island. It is different than the one we used to. The service was ok, the pizza was good as well as the drinks! I also liked them bringing the food when ready!In the other hand, What I did not like is that the prices were a bit high and what I really Did Not enjoy was the pretzel bits! There was good enough amount but the taste was I don’t know wired also the sauce was so disgusting and it had a hardened layer of dried sauce I guess it was sitting for a while or something ! In my opinion this is an ok quick and go type of mellow mushroom pizza!
Google recommended this location as the closest pick up location to go to go to on our way home from Dollywood. This was a huge mistake. Its location is not easy to get to and requires finding parking and walking into the "island". The place was way too crowded for the staff load. Pick up for pizza requires you waiting in the same line as everyone ordering. By the time we found the restaurant and picked up our pizza, it was cold. I recommend going to the other location nearby. Nothing spectacular about a cold pizza.
This is a long walk/not drive up to. We love mellow mushroom pizza but this is the only counter service location in the country. It’s too expensive to serve yourself. You get your own plates and we even requested a knife or serving spoon and the lady was like - they’re up at the counter. Pizza is always good but the staff were rude and it was a big hassle with young children. You pay the price of dining out, but for Panera level service.
Mellow Mushroom provided us with a much-needed break from country cooking during our week-long stay in Pigeon Forge. This location allowed us to check out The Island while getting our pizza fix. We ordered at the counter and the food was quickly delivered to our table. We chose smaller pizzas so everyone could get what they liked. The salad and toppings were very fresh and everything was delicious. We don’t have Mellow Mushroom back home, so it’s a treat when traveling South!

We sat at the bar & enjoyed the IPA selection. Bartender served us drinks & food. Very pleasant & welcoming staff! Funky Q Chicken Pizza. DELISH pizza!!! Dough is so soft, yet crisp. Is rolled in a little cornmeal - gives extra texture & great taste! The flavor combination & freshness made us want to go back for dinner. This has become our new fave pizza spot! Just YUM!
Mellow Mushroom is one of our usual stops when in town. It is always delicious and the service is always good!
