Good old southern hospitality. My family and I enjoyed the breakfast. The chicken fingers are the best I ever had! I cannot wait to go back there when I visit again.
The waitress was so nice and we had a great meal. Highly recommend eating here.
First time there and was very pleased. The food was good and definitely enjoyed the service they provide.
First time visit, won't be the last. Very beautiful place to eat! Love the atmosphere here. The biscuits are amazing, absolutely loved them. The meats we had were fried chicken and honey glazed ham, and the ham was amazing, very tender and juicy, the wife loved the chicken. We had mashed taters, buttery corn, chicken dumplings and green beans as sides, all of which were great, especially the corn!! And the banana pudding was out of this world!! I could have ate a whole tub of it!! They have different choices of meats on different days and at lunch and dinner times. Our waitress, Leann was awesome, so friendly and helpful as well. Definitely added to our visit.
They are a family style restaurant. They have a set menu and its great to me because that made the choosing simple. Their peach butter and cobbler are finger licking good?? the food was so delicious I forgot to take more pictures.
We went on a Friday evening and were seated right away. We were greeted by our waiter right away and brought drinks, salad, biscuits and strawberry butter. The biscuits were excellent as was the strawberry butter. The apple cider vinaigrette dressing was amazing! The portions were adequate, I just think that we are so used to huge portions here in America. Our waiter Leif was attentive and friendly and we never had to wait for any part of the meal. We were very happy with our experience and the Banana Pudding was sooo good.
Good was not quality as we had expected. We had to wait an hour for a table so you would expect good food and service. Not so. The service was worse than our food. I would never recommend this place. It was by far the worst restaurant that we went to all week in the Smokies. Never again.
Got a table for breakfast at 10:45 am after 45 minute wait. Need to take phone numbers and setup text for people waiting. Not enough room for many people to wait. Most people left without waiting. After getting seated they served us after another wait. All u can eat. Bogus!! Asked for more gravy, biscuits, and bacon. 7 minutes later another waitress came by cleared our table and brought the check. As we were leaving we were brought biscuits and eggs. Should have went to Shoney's. Unusual for a Johnson Family Restaurant to be this bad.
Chicken was awesome. Portions were adequate and reorders fast! Thanks Rebecca! We will return. Peach cobbler Alamode was great!
Expensive & Small Family style Proportions not like the picture! Drinks extra not even included in the price. Told at end by waitress that our payment of American express could not be taken so made us use another credit card. But all of their other Johnson restaurants that they own Bennett's etc. and we went to accepted our American Express? We expressed that information to the waitress she said that is weird and that she would check but then we never saw the waitress again to tell us why that was? Instead just be honest with your customers and tell them that American Express charges more credit card fees than other credit cards. It's a Good thing we had another credit card or guess we would have been washing their dishes!
