The Local Goat checks all the boxes! It has great food, large menu and drink menu, good environment and great service. When we arrived the parking lot was full and there was a large group of people standing outside. They told us it would be an hour for 2 people, so we patiently waited outside. The actual wait was only 30 minutes. Once seated our waiter Tanner was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. We ordered the fried deviled eggs as an appetizer and we ordered the bison meatloaf and the bison burger. Everything was amazing! It had so much flavor, was plated beautifuly and came in large portions. Everything was great and I would definitely come back and recommend to others!
Absolutely amazing experience! The prices are a little high here, but I think it's very well priced for the quality of food being served. We first started with the Cheese Fondue appetizer which was a decent portion of appetizing beer cheese and crunchy outter soft dinner inner pretzel. The main dishes were amazing as well, High quality and had an amazing taste. I ordered the half slab of ribs. It came with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were very tender and paired with the coleslaw it was refreshing but a familiar taste. The fries were a perfect crisp level, there wasn't a single bite I took where I didn't get a little bit of crunch. The service was friendly and fast. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and had plenty of room. Lastly, there was a T-shirt for everyone, there was so many colors and designs to choose from, all of which looked well done and high quality that I didn't expect to see from a restaurant.
Great restaurant- food, drinks and service were all great! We recently went for the first time and the family tried a variety of food/meals - deviled eggs, salad, a pasta dish, chicken, kabobs and dessert. All were excellent with good flavors and good portions. The jalapeno mango margarita was also excellent.Would highly recommend this restaurant if visiting the area, although be certain to get on the seating wait list online or by phone as this place was packed with an overfilled parking lot. Glad we did.
We went here for my daughter's birthday. Everything that we ordered was phenomenal! Our server Constantine was wonderful! He all if we had ever been there before and explained that everything made there is made from scratch using locally grown ingredients. We got an assortment of burgers and steaks and even tried a couple of mixed drinks. Overall wonderful place!
We frequently visit the local goat. The food is always good. We had Jennie T as our server and she went above and beyond to provide fantastic service. Would recommend this place to anyone, and getting her as your waitress will make the experience even better.
Book your reservation in advance. This place has the best food in pigeon forge. Vladimir was our waiter and we felt like we were at a five star restaurant. The food was excellent and tasted fresh and local. I would go back.
There was 15 in our group and they were happy and capable to seat us all together in a very timely manner. The food was great! Everything from chicken tenders, awesome salad to spicy seafood pasta dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
We made reservations 2 weeks prior on YELP. They confirmed it 24 hours in advance through text and when we arrived, we were seated right away. The variety of dishes our party of 9 had were extremely flavorful. The atmosphere was a lot of fun. Why only 4 stars? That is because the parking is horrible and I was worried the entire time about my vehicle being parked next door in a different parking lot. I won't go there again for dinner if they don't expand the parking lot, but the food is great!
The food is amazing and our server, Kostiantyn, was wonderful! All around great experience. We will be certain to eat here again in the future!
