Food is absolutely delicious and service is great. Definitely my husband’s and I favorite Mexican restaurant to come to when we are in town on vacation.
Just the normal, nothing special. Food was very greasy, didn’t serve the guacamole with my meal which was supposed to be on it. When asked about it was told they have to throw too much away. I should have been at least asked !
As a Mexican, I am picky about “so-called” Mexican restaurants. The fajitas, molcajete, and guacamole truly felt like home. The texture of the food was perfect, the meats were juicy, the guacamole was perfect, and the atmosphere felt comforting. It definitely feels home-made and made me feel like I was eating from grandmas kitchen in Mexico. Service was wonderful as well.
Found this restaurant by chance on our way to the old mill shopping area.Ordred the Fajitas for two. As you can see in the picture you receive a good amount of steak and chicken to share.Parking was time in the front so we parked in the back.Soda was a little pricey at $3.25I would recommend stopping there.
We have eaten here on several occasions and the food has always been spot on. We decided we wanted something a little different and just happened to notice someone being served a huge fried chicken breast with a sauce on top, had to ask......server said the name but best described it as Honduran Chicken. We had to try it. While waiting We munched on an excellent chunky homemade Guacamole which was delicious. When the Chicken arrived we were greeted with a huge bone on Breast, fried to perfection and sauced with a very favorable sauce. Served with fried Plantains and a Cabbage Slaw with pickled Red Onions. By far the best plate of food not on the menu. We will be back.
This was so good that my husband and I ate here twice in our 5 days in Pigeon Forge. We both had the steak chimichanga the first time and I switched to fajitas the second time. Both dishes were fantastic! Their complimentary chips and salsa were really yummy too! I highly recommend this restaurant! You won't be disappointed!
This is why we love “little hole on the wall” local restaurants.It’s a quaint little restaurant with great ambiance and super friendly staff.The chips were crispy and not overly seasoned. The salsa was the perfect consistency and had just the right amount of flavor where you can taste a hint of cilantro without it being overpowering.My girlfriend ordered the shrimp fajitas and there were lots of decently sized shrimp that were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cast iron serving skillet was nicely sizzling when it was delivered to our table and the flour tortillas were perfectly warm and didn’t stick to each other. The assortment of vegetables were cooked but still fresh and crunchy.I ordered the special which was 2 grilled pork chops with rice and lettuce with sour cream. The pork chops were cooked perfectly with just the perfect seasoning.The serving sizes were very generous and priced very comparably to other Mexican restaurants we’ve been to. If we didn’t live in FL, this would be one of our regular stops when we want Mexican food!
This place is awesome. The staff was very friendly and fast. The food was very good as well. Both plates were very generous with their portions and everything was cooked very well.
This was one of the best experiences of my life in terms of restaurants. They serve chips and home made salsa. However, the drinks took a bit too long as we had to wait about 5 minutes to get them while smoldering from the sauce (we don't do well with spicy.) However the food came very quickly, which normally means it wont be very good and as it looks sketchy from the outside we believed it might have been a bad decision. However, we started eating and realized it was actually amazing. The meat and steak were clearly cooked well and not microwaved that small establishments typically do. The portion size was enormous and had enough to even be boxed. The waiters were generous and sincere, though accented they clearly put in an effort to get you to understand in a nice way. 10/10 restaurant would highly recommend.
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I got the fajita nachos, was delicious!! Will definitely be back.
