Writing this as I sit in the restaurant. Server was great, nothing on him, he tried to fix it. Food was awful though. Eggs were watery, even after having them sent back. Bacon was old and rock hard. Biscuits were very underdone. For a moment I felt like I had gone through the school cafeteria line. I’m just praying I don’t get sick later today at this point.
Walked in close to closing time, like 45 minutes before. Everyone was sitting down, even the manager. Ordered our food. Server was nice, but it was apparent everyone wanted to go home. I get it, but the service shouldn't suffer because of it. Put roast was fatty. Salad was inundated with brown lettuce, too. Didn't really eat it because, who wants to get sick. Won't eat here ever again, either.
The breakfast was wonderful… fresh, tasty and cooked the way we ordered… Service was great… we both ordered the old timers and it did not disappoint… the biscuits tasted like they were made from scratch…

We had a nice meal and enjoyed ourselves. On our way out we spoke with a lady that works there. She was very nice and come to find out we had both lived in IOWA . We talked awhile and had great conversation. Our dinner was great and we will definitely be back when plan our next trip to Pigeon Forge.
We go to Cracker Barrel frequently. The biscuits tonight were the best I’d had in a long time. We enjoyed shopping while waiting for our table.
We ate breakfast at the large cracker barrel near light number 10 and as always the food was hot and delicious. The store is nicely spaced out because they have the extra room to do so. We always eat at least once at this location.

My only hang up was the fact that they were telling ppl that the wait would be over an hour when there was empty tables scattered throughout the place. I asked why the wait was so long and he said bc they had a large group coming. So was the group going to be sitting at random tables? It was obvious he was lying but I don't know why.
Food was cold service was slow!
