From the outside it doesn’t look like anything special, but definitely stop in and eat. The food was very delicious and very large portions. Reasonably priced as well.

May 29, 2022 at 7:30 pmSaw hostess and was told 15-20 min wait (was 25+). It was busy, but tables were open. Three people in front of us. Very tight inside. After waiting outside in the sun and heat b/c you couldn’t wait inside. My wife was even told after overheating she couldn’t stay in there. And they didn’t have any room. We were on a motorcycle so we were wearing jeans and a tee.Hostess came and got us (never texted us even though they got our phone #, no name), but said we had to wait on menus.Seated for almost 10 mins before menus were brought out as well as the water and chips/salsa. Water was all around the table. Told host and he pointed to wall A/C, but didn’t even try to clean up. It was leaking from a janitor closet behind me. And the A/C was clearly not working properly.Only woman bussing tables (who also brought chips/salsa) was cleaning up two big tables. We had to wait for her to finish to get anything. She was clearly overwhelmed. We ordered as soon as they came out with water which took longer than chips/salsa as to not cause further delay.Saw another couple across the restaurant that almost finished their huge mixed drinks before their food came out. You could tell they were getting impatient by their body language.Food arrived 15 mins after ordering. Also tops of tables were cut acrylic which made the plates slide around when trying to eat off them. I was unable to attached a video of me chasing my plate around the table trying to eat. I had to hold it down.Observations. Inside/location is too small. Not enough wait staff, clearly overwhelmed and undertrained. Lack of concern with safety of customers allowing 1/4” water all over floor around my table. I was basically sitting in it. See pics. From most Mexican restaurants I’ve been too and it’s a lot they are very efficient. You expect little wait and fast service from them. That’s the experience and expectation of what these restaurants are known for outside of fast food.Understandably, it was Memorial Day weekend with a lot of tourists. However, with only a couple people wait, it should not have taken over 30 mins to wait, be seated and get a waitress. It was almost an hour by the time we waited and got our food. Whole experience was 1.5 hrs.If they do provide better service at other times, then maybe visit outside of holidays and busy times. Food was 4 out of 5 stars.

The ceilito Lindo dip is awesome. Steak chimis are awesome, and the alambre quesadilla was the best quesadilla I have ever had. Try this place out if you like good Mexican food

Looks very unassuming but an absolutely wonderful little spot to get good Mexican food for a very affordable price. My wife and I each ended up getting some of their largest dishes which we enjoyed to the fullest extent (pictured is the Molcajete which comes in a simmering stone bowl with every meat and some seafood Flavored to perfection with melted cheese on top with a side of rice, beans, and salad) and left with enough leftovers to easily cover another meal. Would highly recommend stopping here if you love good Mexican food and we definitely will be back again when in the Pigeon Forge area!

Wonderful experience eating here. It is nestled right next to a little Mexican grocery you. The service was friendly and it was certainly a local place to eat. The food was served hot and was quick to arriv. The chicken on the nachos was some of the best chicken I have tasted, perfectly cooked and flavored. They were generous in their portions and they were quick on refills of chips and drinks. The margaritas were tasty and strong, so well worth the cost. Overall a fun environment and a good place to take the whole family.

I'm a local and this is the best Mexican restaurant in Sevier County hands down. The staff are very welcoming and kind. The food is amazing and the margaritas are perfect. I highly highly recommend this place!!! Definitely a favorite among locals.

We were on our way to another Mexican Restaurant in Pigeon Forge after a long day at Dollywood. However, after reading one negative review after another we turned the car around and decided on Cielito Lindo and glad we did. The decor, food and service was wonderful. One in our party said the frozen margarita was outstanding! One in our party was not a fan of the chips. All and all most certainly recommend.

Cool place with good food. Our waiter seemed to have a real poor attitude, like he had a chip on his shoulder. Food delivery was not all together, delivered 2 meals, then a third, and finally the 4th.

Awesome experience. Hiddden gem in pigeon forge. This place is a must if you want to experience authentic Mexican food. The staff is very nice and the decor is very traditional. The Molcajete is enough to feed a family of four and the prices are very reasonable. The margarita glass is so cute. My kids really loved the food and enjoyed the experience.

The staff was very friendly to me and the family they loved talking to the kids. Don’t get me started on the food it was Delicious and the plate size was a little to big but this Cielito Lindo was awesome.Thank you for a good time.
