This is the worst food that I have ever put into my mouth. I am a seafood lover, but this place makes me want to become a vegetarian. I paid extra to get the crab legs and had to try the other items because of the quality of the crab legs. To my horror, the other items were worse. Crab cakes never saw crab in their life, Cod was mush, Salmon was just nasty, Oysters were also nasty. Desserts are available (Not on the bar for some reason) But I'm sure you can find these same desserts in the frozen aisles at the grocery store, along with better seafood. I can NOT say this enough. GO ELSEWHERE.

We purchased the all u can eat buffet- the crab legs were so thin that i you were lucky if you got any meat out of it. The crab cakes were dry, chicken was tough...very disappointed in buffet. If you are not a seafood person- this is not the place for you. It was not that busy when we were there but took very long time for soda refill. Poor service n staff had broken English n very hard to understand. Big regret in coming here...$120.78 for 2 people with 2 sodas

The price for a buffet without crab legs was $24.99. The seafood ok but had a fishy taste that I do not encounter with true fresh seafood. The crab cakes would more accurately be termed cakes with a hint of crab. The clam chowder needed more cream. I did not include the crab legs as the cost would have been $49.99. On the positive side, the wait-staff was very attentive to our needs.

If you like seafood, this is definitely the place to go. I see all these negative reviews but fail to understand why. I guess some people are hard to please. Captain Jim's is a great place to eat, although to add the crab leg is a bit pricy at $50, you can opt to forgo them and have everything else for only $25. I tried a bit of everything, even things I didn't really like and it was all wonderful, even the roast beef was very tender. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing. I would absolutely recommend Captain Jim's Seafood Buffet to anyone that loves a tasty variety.

Crab is expensive so I could handle paying $50, but I expected that they at least knew how to cook it! It was so over cooked. The crab that sat there was horrible but even when they first brought it out a fresh batch it was massively over cooked. I don’t know what the quality was before they cooked it, but as a crab lover, it was hard to see all that wasted crab. The salad bar was the only fresh food. All of the food was fried and over cooked. I couldn’t find any shrimp in the fried shrimp, there was so much breading. The deserts were meh.

The food there is overpriced and of poor quality. No seasoning on food, limited oysters on the half shell and very small, crab cakes had very little crab in them, boiled shrimp over cooked and mushy. Save your money and go elsewhere. Don't mind spending if food is good but this was a horrible experience for 110 dollars.

Lots of seafood, quality is average. Plenty of crab legs but you do get a choice of a lower price if you do not care for crab legs. Waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of oysters and shrimp-yum!

Tasted like it was frozen food from Walmart No seasonings everything I tried had no flavor.Would never go back or recommend to anyone.

Don’t eat here food so bad friend food was not fresh was frozen baked fish no flavor everything was bland

Biggest ripoff I’ve ever experienced ! We paid over a 100 dollars and nothing was fit to eat ! Don’t waste your time or money !
