Fantastic ribs combo!! We walked right in with the four of us on a busy night! The food was simply amazing, and our service outstanding. Some of the best ribs we've ever had. Don't miss out on Calhoun's!!!

Food was hot n delicious. Beer was cold n the service was great. Get the bread basket, 4 different kinds of rolls/biscuits, excellent.

First of the all the manager on duty on 6/27/22 was very accommodating. We had a large party of 25 people and he was able to give us our own section. We went in ahead of time to see if they've be able to handle a party of our size and Crystal B volunteered to take care of us. She did an excellent job, was very attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Thanks Crystal B and thanks Calhoun management for taking care of us....we'll be back.

My husband and I always have had the best steak (ale steak) and corn pudding here, and for vacations, would always get the same thing and never have been disappointed until yesterday- we have not been here for 4 years, but neither the ale steak nor the corn pudding was the same as it was!! The corn pudding was a darker color and wasn’t as light and fluffy in texture - definitely different recipe or cook and the steak was not marinated as it used to be - all it tasted like was as if they used Montreal steak seasoning but not the usual ale steak flavor or texture!! Needless to say, the food wasn’t bad tasting- but for die hard Calhoun’s ale steak fanatics from Virginia, it was a major letdown!! I’m hoping that this post will produce constructive criticism so that the managerial staff who read this will go back to their old ways of making the food and stick to the recipes as they were - I’m sure that with staff shortages, times are challenging for food service and because of that, taking shortcuts in food prep, etc is possibly the reason for the changes but I encourage you to go back to the way it was 4 years ago!! We are not going back this trip because of our experience - we normally go twice in a weeks time!!

Waitress was good super nice.. food was not good at all for how much you pay! If your a young couple you don’t get very much respect from the staff. The hostess was rude and threw our menus on our table and walked off without saying a word.

Had the brisket sandwich and over half of the meat was fat. Service was so so. Never got served the bread they normally bring. This was around 2:00 and definitely not crowded.

Food was great but they served us biscuits instead of bread choices. Server/service was terrible!!!!! Server didn’t check on us unless we flagged her down. She was directly behind us in server area talking with other staff. No drink refills until I got up to go to my car to get my own. 1 of my party asked for extra ranch never saw it. 1 needed A-1 had to flag her down to ask cause when food was brought no one asked if we needed anything or came back to see how our steaks were.No silverware. Also we were there around 9pm and they were NOT busy so you’d think you get better service. We have ate at Calhoun’s in Gatlinburg on other trips and it’s been during a busy dinner time. No problems at all Wish I’d said something to the manager but sadly I didn’t

Still our favorite barbeque in all of Tennessee chain places. Friendly service, great atmosphere and the real deal smoked barbeque! You absolutely have to try the bacon wrapped burnt ends, they are a bit of bliss in an otherwise difficult world. I had the prime rib special on a Saturday, it was completely worth every penny one of the best slices of prime rib in my life... a must try and not my usual order from Calhouns

This restaurant has been a must stop, multiple times per trip, over the last 15 years. However, this week was our first time back since Covid and it was disappointing. First, the didn’t bring out the usual bread basket with multiple bread options. I’m wondering if they only bring the garlic bread now? Second, the waiter was no help and not hospitable. Lastly, the corn pudding was thin in the bowl, had a weird taste, and was oddly shiny on top. It didn’t have the look or taste it used to. I’m wondering if they changed it? I’m going to give the Gatlinburg location a try tomorrow. I’m really hoping it’s not the same.

This was our first time in Pigeon Forge, TN as well as out very first visit to Calhoun's. We had about a 20 minute wait which was painless. The food was quite good, smoked pork was phenomenal. Sadly this time they were out of corn pudding, but this was quickly resolved by the incredibly friendly staff. Our server, Ty, was an incredible kind and thoughtful guy with all of the willingness to support his tables needs. We were astonished by his readiness to serve. When he noticed our bread basket was low, he offered to bring usore and I asked for just "Parmesean" and he reminded me it was garlic, and brought us fresh garlic rolls nearly immediately! He was knowledgeable about the menu, as I asked if the smoked pork plate was kindof like pulled pork, he responded it is! I was not disappointed in anyway. Ty even brought us fresh drinks after seeing I was running low! I thought this was very thoughtful, and I don't think I've ever experienced such a nice dinner with staff that's absolutely on top of everything! Thanks Ty, for a wonderful dinner experience in Pigeon Forge, TN. We will be comming back next year!
