You won't regret stopping in to Boss Hogg and grabbing some absolutely amazing BBQ. I got a platter with some brisket and ribs as I couldn't make up my mind between the two. The brisket was loaded with flavor while still moist. The ribs had the perfect pull and didn't just fall apart making a mess. My wife has BBQ pulled pork which again was absolutely perfect with no long stringy pieces or surprise chunks of fat. She went with mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese for the sides which were phenomenal just like everything else.
We have been in pigeon forge for a week, hands down the best food we have eaten all week. Even going back for a second time & taking some home to the family to eat! You will not be disappointed & everyone in there was so nice!
Superb brisket! Lean and tender dipped in their sauce was the best I've had.Should've rated only 4 stars because they forgot the potato salad which was one of the two sides on our to go order but that brisket was so good it outweighed that oversight.Will definitely return.

The pork was amazing. The brisket had a good flavor but was a little on the dry side. Barbecue sauce was very good but they were a little skimpy with the sauce. Once we got back to our cabin and tried the brisket, we wished we had more sauce. The green beans also had a good flavor. The staff were nice but it looks like they need more staff. The 2 ladies running the front were trying to take orders; serve food; and prepare to go orders. This really slowed down the process and there was a long wait to get our food. It was a little pricey but I suppose everything is overpriced in this tourist town. Fix the staffing issues and improve the flow of service and it has potential for a 5 star. Thanks.
We randomly pulled in on the way back to Pigeon Forge from Cades Cove. BEST DECISION EVER.This is probably the best barbecue I have ever had. I ordered the pulled pork dinner plate, Mac and cheese and green beans. The house made sauces were excellent. Definitely try the mustard based sauce! Pork was incredibly tender.We finished up with slices of carrot, Italian cream and chocolate cake, and they were also delicious.Service was very fast and friendly. Perfect experience and meal! I strongly recommend.

One of my favorite BBQ restaurants in Pigeon Forge. Actually made it my first stop upon arriving this trip! And I have to say I’m not sure how, but the brisket was actually better than the last time.. it just melted in my mouth!!
Fantastic food, everyone loved it. Brisket and pulled pork were delicious, all the sides were great as well. Would definitely go back.
