This what one of the best food here fresh fresh and great cheese burger. Best servies

. Had a bacon cheeseburger that was great and the fry's were nice and crispy. Sweet Pea the cook was fun to talk to. Everything is cooked right up front. Its in a antique store and might put some people off but it was well worth it. I would come back again for sure.

Sweetpea was the best! Good service and great food!

best burger we've had since the early 70s! Great job Sweet Pea!!!

If you want a good fish sandwich don't bother! I got it to go on my lunch break so was super disappointed when I got it back to work to find an over processed fish square on a bun with no tarter sauce, no lettuce, no cheese... nothing just bun and soggy fish.

It took 40 Minutes for us to get our food. It would be worth the wait but the food was mediocre at best. The workers were not wearing masks while making food or cleaning. None of the table were cleaned or taken care of.

I have been at this restaurant 3 times now with my family. The first time it was amazing! The second time it was okay. And yesterday it was flat out terrible. I ordered a classic burger and tator tots. The food was cold. My burger was all gritty and tough. The tator tots was so soggy it was like they sat in grease for hours. Our food took almost an hour. I was just really disappointed to pay almost $60 for a meal I was not happy with. The service was excellent though.

I found this place on Trip Advisor searching the restaurants for a place off the beaten path for lunch because every restaurant on the strip is over an hour+ wait time. So I figured a place like this wouldn't have a long wait time. You'll know why from my review below. I'd give it a zero but Trip Advisor requires you give a place at least a 1 to post a review. They seriously need to change this rule. Now onto the review. 1. Bob is no longer associated with this place. All of the positive reviews included him and he is no longer the owner. When the kid informed of me this I should have taken the cue. 2. My wife ordered a BLT and the bun was drenched in enough oil to change the oil on an 18 wheeler. A BLT is probably the simplest of sandwiches to make and they failed miserably in this department. 3. The fries were so oily they were mushy. Everything they prepared is a stroke waiting to happen. 4. The only good thing about our lunch were the cans of soda were ice cold. 5. All the food items/combos were way overpriced in my opinion. 6. Unfriendly teenagers were running the place. They seemed like they were ready to leave at any time. 7. The best part of this place was looking at it in my rearview mirror as we were driving away. 8. I will never step foot in that place ever again.

Great food and service. I loved the fact that the restaurant was right inside the antique store.

Anytime my wife and I are out somewhere on vacation we like to try and visit some local places to eat that come highly recommended. I googled “Best Hamburgers” and one of the places that showed up was “The 50’s Diner” , so we decided to go give the burgers a try. Let’s just say that we both are burger snobs meaning we hate frozen patty burgers. This young man hand pats each burger. For $9.00 you can get a dressed burger with fries and a coke. Cheese or bacon adds a little bit extra but it’s not a lot more.Upon meeting the owner he seems to just be quiet and strictly about his work which there is nothing wrong with. But after the rush slows down he comes by your table and wants to be sure that your food was good and that you are satisfied and that you leave happy.Bottom line...if you want a GOOD Hamburger in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area go pay him a visit. First and foremost he is truly a small business and he needs our business to survive. Y’all go give him a try, unless you are just one of those people who complains about everything you won’t be sorry that you did. ;-)
