Ordered two blasts on the app. Myself and many other patrons were waiting 50+ minutes. Fifty minutes for two blasts that take 30 seconds to make? This is the second time in a month span that sonic has made me wait an extremely long time for no reason. The first time they CLOSED and I had to go to the window and be like where is my food? After an entire hour and a half wait. You are not hurting for bodies, as I see many people inside working... So maybe it is lack of competence? I ended up cancelling my order tonight after 50 minutes and went to McDonald's. There was 10 cars in front of me and I was in and out in 15 minutes, with the drive through person having her one arm in a sling. A one armed woman was able to serve people faster, and overall smoother then a team of 7 people with only 5 cars in line when we got there? I even ordered on the app ahead, which in your terms is "faster." You need to step it up big time Oak Ridge Sonic, because currently you are a joke. You have lost our business moving forward.
My most recent experience was devastating.Ordered through the app, and waited 45 minutes. Pressed the red button "We will bring it right out"20 minutes later "We will bring it out after we remake your shake"The shake was fresh.The only thing in an order you WANT to not be so danm fresh you can't drink it was the only thing remade fresh.Of course you get a coupon for a free ice cream cone and or a free shake.Really really disappointed considering how often I have amazing service. Maybe just stay away around nine pm on Sunday nights.
As a food service worker I try not to leave these reviews but my experience today was unacceptable. I ordered 2 route 44 slushes via the app. After 10 minutes of waiting at the stall the screen said my server was on their way. Waiting another 20 minutes trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and no one came out. Waisted by lunch break and money.
If i could give this zero stars, i would.Sonic in Oak Ridge has went downhill! I placed an order through the app at 7:04pm. I arrived to pick up my food at 7:15pm and notified them I was there. By 7:40pm, I still didn't have my order. I called in to them and the kid said he would get a manager. Manager never came to the speaker. He then said he would send one out to talk to me about a refund. Nobody ever came out. At this point, I found a number to call for a refund. At this same time a rep had just got on the phone and they had just walked out trying to give me my food at 7:50pm. Almost an hour later, I didn't want the food. I just wanted a refund for my food. I tried being patient with them but I feel like after almost an hour, it should be out to me. Especially since they weren't exactly busy.
10:15pm my mother and I ordered at the drive-thru. She got a banana milkshake and I wanted a cherry limeade cream slush. They were out of slush mix. I made a second quick pick of a hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry. No whipped cream or cherries...they were out. Waited in line 25 minutes to receive a melted sundae with gobs of chocolate and a melted banana milkshake, not even filled to the first inside rim of the cup. We have a Dairy Queen, Wendy's, McDonald's, Freddy's, & a Baskin Robbins...we have OTHER CHOICES. Tighten up, Sonic! You're losing us.

Was the best grill cheese I have had. It was hot and fresh and the young man who was my carhop was fantastic and kind he was a great guy . Thank You for my great service. ☺️?
The food is always good and hot I always get a ocen water with extra blue coconut
Every time I place a mobile order- I wait and wait. They clear my order off the screen and when I asked about my order- I had to repeat my order. And I get- ‘we’ll try and get that out soon’. Umm, really? This is ridiculous!! I shouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes for a drink!!!!!
They forgot my fries, which is forgivable because they have the best burgers. I did end up getting my fries.
