First time I ever tried a Firehouse Sub was last week at Clinton location. I ordered same exact thing here at Oak Ridge location. It suffers by comparison. Got the Spicy Cajun Chicken. The sandwich looked tiny compared to Clinton. Had exactly 2 two jalapeños on it and much less chicken. I will try the Lenoir City or Farragut locations to see if they can make it like the Clinton location. The kids running the location were nice enough. But I’ll try elsewhere.
I just went in on Mother’s Day to go and order my favorite sandwich, to which I was promptly met with a very rude employee. I went up to the cash register and said” I would like a medium hook and ladder.” To which he responded what size? I then repeated myself and said “I would like a medium hook and ladder.” He then asked if I would like chips and a drink. I said yes. He then asked me if it was for here to go? I said to go Then he asked would you like to donate to charity today? To which I said yeah He then looked me dead in my eyes and said “it’s Yes or No” So me realizing that he’s just being rude decided to change my answer and said No. While I was waiting for your employees to prepare my meal. I was listening to his interaction with the other customers that were behind me. He wasn’t nearly as rude and can you guess what??? HE DIDNT EVEN ASK THEM IF THEY WANTED TO DONATE ? What a joke! Corey S is his name and your manager isn’t very professional at all. Letting her rude employees hide in the back and not do work while the rest of the good working employees do all the work is extremely unacceptable. As a matter of fact your other employees told me when they were handing me my sandwich that he’s always like that. Which means you need to get it under control! Like yesterday
This location was busy, but just ok for subs. They were slow, and it seemed like they had enough people working. Just ok compared to other locations I have been to.
I just wanted to share the wonderful experience I had today at the Oak Ridge Tennessee location. The employees went out of their way for me, correcting a mistake that I made placing my order. I just can't thank them enough. A great crew!
If you like Subway... You will be blown away with Firehouse. This deserves 6 stars.
Sandwiches and staff are both very good. The parking is a little tricky sometimes but otherwise it’s worth the trip
