First time going here on a recommendation from a friend. And it was everything that they said it was. Nice and clean and great staff. They gave us enough time to really look at the menu. Our waitress was great and very attentive to our needs. We ordered and within 10 minutes we had our food and it was delicious. There is a bar area. Great selection of different types of drinks. Yes, I will be going back here again.
This place is amazing! The menu was a bit overwhelming because they have so many different options but they always are delicious and provide great service! We are definitely regulars there and one of our favorite restaurants!

Best Mexican restaurant we've been able to find since moving here from Arizona. The service was awesome and the food was OUTSTANDING! My wife and I highly recommend El Jinete.
Wow, possibly a new favorite?? The wife and I loved our first visit to El Jinete (the rider)! Nothing but good things to say starting with the outside approach, and indoor ambiance. The service was superb; polite, friendly, and prompt. The food was fantastic and the topper, since personally I can be more tolerant of everything else when the food is good! We are new to Oak Ridge and plan on visiting all the restaurants one by one, so I'll reserve my final judgment on whether this place is a favorite but I gotta say it's gonna be hard to top!
Excellent food and service. The mole was on point. My only peeve was its listing sopapillas as a dessert. I grew up eating sopapilla as fry bread w my meal. Sopapillas as described in the menu is more akin to a bunielo, which I recall eating as a sweet pastry w hot chocolate on Xmas.
Alex was the best bartender ever! Our margaritas were so delicious. The food was excellent and in huge portions. We will definitely be back.
Worst customer service ever
I have been here 3 times now and this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. I have tried something different every time and it has all been absolutely amazing.
Atmosphere is nice here. The rice is light, the beans are fresh, and the shrimp fajitas are devine. I'll have to try their pork next time and update the review. As an aside: had a frozen mango margarita and it was also fantastic.
