Holy wow Aubrey’s was a great recommendation. I am super new to the area so I decided to give this place a go. Definitely was not disappointed and I guess I went on the best day - Mondays are trivia night AND the special is burgers and brew for $12 (any burger on the menu and any beer/brew or soda) I ordered the Thunder Road burger and an Angry Orchard. The burger and thick cut potato chips were delicious. I ordered my burger medium rare and it was perfect for me! Bread also comes before the meal. I can definitely be seeing myself becoming a local here!
We ate here last night and had something different, the Hawaiian Steak. It was very good, flavorful, thick and prepared just the way I like it. I was really surprised that the ginger was not over powering and everything blended together in a very unique way. The service was a bit slow for a full staff and no one in the place. The setting was very clean and casual. We have been here before and had the fish and chips. They are usually ok.
The food was good, the place was clean. The service was.... Okay. What is going on with the bread???I had to ask our waitperson for bread 3 times at the beginning. They brought out 2 pieces for 3 people.Then again during our meal I asked for bread 3 more times, and never got any. Considering a shrimp dish was $25 all on it's own, some bread would not have cut into their bottom line too much.
I decided to sit at the bar and it was an amazing experience. My overall tab was medium because of the amount of drinks I had. Dinner itself was only 15 dollars before taxes. It was amazing by the way. The Thunder Road Burger was delicious and the fries were cooked perfect with the right amount of salt and pepper added from the kitchen. They have a decent selection of liquors and tequilas. If you can't find a beer you like on tap there then you are too picky.
Fantastic service staff. Consistently checked on our party to ensure we were taken care of. Food was delicious and large portion size. Awesome place.
We had never been to Oak Ridge and stumbled into Aubrey's. Very good food and excellent service. Came back 2 nights later, very good!
My husband and I just came back from lunch at Aubrey's in Oak Ridge. We both had chicken salad sandwiches on toast and a bowl of their baked potato soup. As per their usual, it was perfection!Aubrey's is not super fancy, but rather a nice casual, relaxed restaurant. What sets them apart is the fantastic food and service. They don't have a menu full of unrecognizable "rich people" food items. They serve top quality real food. As a Realtor who also brings a lot of my clients here, I love that!
The food was fantastic. Good portion sizes. I had a sandwich and ended up taking half of it home. I highly reccomend trying the chips they make from scratch!Staff was very friendly. The place was clean and comfortable.
Great gumbo. The service was good considering how busy it was that might. Evwryone told us to try rhis place. The wings were rather boring for me. I would have liked more spice. They were crispy. The beer selection was great. I would try again.
My daughter has siliac disease and this is her favorite restaurant, the have a gluten free menu and the people are nice.
