Best fried chicken in town!!!! I recommend getting the half chicken with white sauce on the side. And make sure you get the large size fruit tea!!!!
WHERE IS WALDO?This is definitely one of the best fried chicken I tried in Tennessee. I would recommend you to share some chicken and wings with your friends. Specially the Lemon Pepper wings where delicious and the variety of sauces is amazing.
Great food and customer service as usual. I had the chicken ?? tender sandwich, sprite and those tasty off the chain ⛓️ cheddar biscuits. D*** those biscuits are mighty tasty!!!!!
Walados on Liberty Pike in Cool Springs is the best! They have great customer service and provide amazing food! I highly recommend them for catering events as well as they did for a pool party we had!
We were looking for something like Nashville hot chicken that wouldn’t burn our Midwest mouths off and Waldo’s really delivered with its colorful atmosphere and great outdoor seating. The chicken all had the right amount of kick. The dark meat was juicy and while the white meat wasn’t that exactly, it was what you would expect out of white meat chicken. However, the sides were a bit of a let down. The fries weren’t crispy and I didn’t finish the Mac and cheese. But the cucumber and tomato salad provided a great foil to all the fried food. Overall, was a great place to get a quick meal while enjoying something special to Nashville.
My fiancé and I have supported Waldos since they opened in Nashville. We’ve probably spent $400 in orders from catering to personal dinners and have always enjoyed the food. However, after dining in the past 2-3 times, we’ve experienced an extreme laziness from our sides being forgotten about to the worst possible experience, hairs in food. The entire staff does not wear hair nets and this photo is a prime example. Waldos you have lost a full time customer. ?
This is the second time we have been. The 1st it was really good but this time the breading was really hot. We can' t handle pepper hot. Everything else was great.
I like this place a lot and wish I lived in the area so I could sample other menu items but while I was in town I tried the FOUL MOUTH, spicy chicken sandwich, macaroni and cheese and white beans.This spicy chicken sandwich is unlike any you’ll have at other restaurants. Do not be afraid of the habanero oil. It will not tear you up and adds a very unique and delicious flavor.Their mac & cheese is also way better than most.
Must visit Nashville eatery!! Cheddar biscuits so good, chicken so freaking delicious it’ll make you skip down the road! I’ll be back!
Just got into town and someone said to go to Waldo's. Had there chicken strip sandwich with collared greens. The guy behind the bars was the best. He had several recommendations for beers to try. Also, had a great understanding of how to pair. Will recommend this place.
