Our story is the same as Katie K. How do you tell people you're closed when you're not closed. We were immediately told to go orders only. None of the tables were bused. Half the restaurant was closed off with people eating at one table. We got lucky, the cook got our order and did her job. When she finished our order, she left the restaurant and told her help that they were closed. The young man working tried to spin me a story about supply and demand and how the store was out of everything and how he was a cook working the register. Cooperate management, you may want to consider firing the entire team and start over with a new night shift. You're definitely being robbed by the crew that's presently representing the Waffle House name. BTW our food was great that we ate back at the hotel. 2727 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN 37214
Everything was good (staff, service, food etc.) except the all the flies! The restaurant has two doors to walk through to enter, so it should help prevent flies from getting inside. Somehow there were still probably ten flies buzzing past our heads and food from the moment we entered until we left. I was there with some friends and coworkers. If I wasn't there with them, I would have ate elsewhere. Will not eat here again until the housefly infestation is sorted.
Stopped in for a late dinner after a show at the Opry. Got seated right away. Sam, the owner, was our server! Sam made us feel right at home. The food and service was excellent. I will definitely be eating there again.
Love this place. Great food, it is what you would expect from a Waffle House. Eggs and tasty waffles. I don’t live in the US, however I have been to many wafflehouses because they consistently have everything you need. Fast, friendly, tasty. You need one CLOSER to BROADWAY!!!
The service was great it may have took her a minute to get to the table but once she did everything was on point the food was quick. She could have cracked a smile but it was 3:00 in the morning and it is waffle House. Either way it was the waffle House experience you usually expect ?
They were short-staffed tonight, so they closed half the restaurant down. We had to wait for a table but it moved quickly. Food was excellent after a long day and the staff made the experience a great one. They made sure the place was clean, full of music from the jukebox, and chatted with us to keep the hospitality flowing! Love our "local" treasure right by the house.
They are super nice! They make my food just the way I like. And when a syrup container accidentally broke as she was putting it in the bag not only did she throw away the container she cleaned off the lid of my to go order also so I wouldn't have sticky hands and clothes!
Fast, friendly service despite being severely understaffed and the food was great!
The staff members were great but the place was not clean enough for me. However, they were so busy that they didn't have time to clean. They need to hire someone simply for cleaning and nothing else. Then the staff can continue to cook good food.
Here is another place in Nashville that needs some TLC! The server immediately upon entering closed a section off. Almost as if to say hey I can’t wait on you tonight! However I stayed sat in a tiny dirty booth but I wasn’t willing to be ran off…lolThe server wasn’t pleasant but wasn’t inviting either! The food was mediocre. The price for 4 to eat was $45. We all had the same exact thing to eat making it easy for her. I asked for decaf coffee and her response was I’ll have to see if I can find some. Any how won’t be going back as I’m just visiting but I really wanted to love it considering the last time I was in Florida it was amazingly delicious! By the way at the end of my visit her attitude was a hell of a lot more pleasing. The sign on the door say be nice to the people who came to work for you today. With that being said I was kind to her and tipped her kindly. Thank you Nashville!
