I love a place with cool touches. The staff are so interesting to watch their style's. The server Cisco knows an amazing amount about the menu. I enjoyed the vibe the most but I still have love for the original Virago. Maybe you should open another Asian fusion place in East Nashville. I love pear in my Korean BBQ sauce-try it out it's crazy. Of course the sushi is amazing. My favorite is EEL. I know I'm weird.

I want to give 4.5 stars, but can’t. I loved all the food. The wagyu tataki was my absolute favorite, my mouth went to heaven. The wasabi martini was wonderful, hamachi jalapeño.. yum! Crispy rice with tuna, our two sushi rolls (rainbow box and truffle something). What lacked was the service, our server wasn’t very good, just never to be seen for large periods of time. Everyone else seemed to have good servers though. They did comp a round of drinks and give us a (delicious) tuna rose for having to wait so long for some of our dishes. So, I didn’t mind the issues.

Worth it! We loved everything we ordered. Drinks: Tokyo Sangria, 12th & McGavock - super fresh for having an egg white wasn’t too heavyApp: Crispy Rice + Spicy Tuna - I was skeptical of the watermelon pop rocks but it was cool to hear them sizzling and the flavor was really balancedNigirizushi: Salmon Belly - was a great step up from classic Sake salmon nigiriMakimono (rolls): volcano - was really good, the spicy rock shrimp was a perfect crunch and not tooo spicyTruffle Futomaki - we originally didn’t order this and added it in at the end. 100% this should be on your order no matter what (if you like truffle)All YUM!

This was my second time being here, and my gluten free meal that they specially prepared for me was absolutely incredible! I started off with the crispy brussels as an appetizer, which was perfectly seasoned and balanced with sweet, salty, earthy and smoky. Our server was gracious to spend so much time with us explaining the menu, and making suggestions. He suggested a gluten-free truffle futomaki roll. Oh my goodness! What a delight! I usually don't order sashimi, but all the flavors and textures were like a journey! I paired it with a prosecco This was a very memorable meal, and when I'm in Nashville again I will definitely visit.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about my experience here. The food tasted fantastic, and the ambiance was excellent. The waiter's attentiveness was on point. So what are the conflicting feelings? It wasn't easy to find the Entrance. The bar took 30 min to get our drinks to us. The food took unusually long to come out. Our waiter competed us an appetizer to apologize for the inconvenience. I get it. This industry is so under staffed.I gave this place 5 stars because of the great tasting food. That's my 2 cents now you decide now. ✨

Definitely stepped out of my comfort zone when ordering here. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of what I ordered but it was tasty. The restaurant offered lowered lighting and a chic modern vibe. The service all around was 5 stars. Definitely an experience to dine in. The spot could be hard to find if it’s your first time as they have a very cool looking hidden entrance just next door to St. Anejo. Have dined in a few times & will continue to come.

The place was absolutely amazing!! We come from NY and are very spoiled with delicious sushi but let me tell you, this place won’t disappoint you. Its absolutely delicious and fresh sushi!! Service was outstanding, the presentation was so pretty, every little bite was so good!!! We had a bunch of appetisers and a chef tour was soooo good. It had a great combination of different sushi rolls. Worth every penny. Also the drink with passion fruit and egg white was so delicious!!! Highly recommend this amazing place located at Gulch!!!

The ambience did seem darker than usual. However, everything else 10/10. Last time I came it was not a good experience and the server did not enjoy us. This time, our server was so attentive we never lifted a finger when it came to our water jug. She was fun and welcoming. I honestly will recommend her every time. Jessica was great.Lastly Barbra was super kind and flexible when we called to move up our reservation. She was open to doing so and very graciously granted us the opportunity.

The sushi rolls were the best part. We had appetizers that were really not very good. The service was the weird part, when we first sat down our waiter came to our table every 45s to see if we were ready to order and seemed a little annoyed that we took time to read the menu. After that it was like he just decided our table was done. Actually had to cancel my last drink because he never came back with it and had to ask for our check twice before we ever got it.

Tasha went above and beyond to make my daughters special day even better. It’s unbelievable the service and enjoyment that was displayed this evening. Thanks Tasha. Thanks to all the staff. Will be back over and over again.
