I have been working downtown for 3 years and never heard of this place until my coworker Todd told me about it. The club sandwich is delicious it tastes way better than a Subway or Jimmy John's. The lady at the cashier is very nice to customers and the cooks are also very friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a lunch spot in downtown Nashville!
Great little hidden gem of a lunch spot making some of the best fresh sandwiches in this part of town and excellent soups. Ty's is fast affordable and staffed with smiling friendly people. Order ahead if needed but you can usually drop by, be in and out in 5 minutes or less. The Chicken soup is delectable. The sandwiches are piled high with meats and the bread is soft delicious and nicely toasted (unless you prefer it not to be) you should absolutely try the Reuben and the chicken salad, I also really like the plain old club. A Subway is opening next door. Don't be fooled try Ty's instead you'll pay the same or less for much better food with more meats!The shop is small no sitting inside but if it's nice out there are a few tables you can sit at. Also Available on all the delivery apps.
If I had to design my perfect work lunch spot, it would look a LOT like TY'S. Location is right in this district of offices, it's fast, you can order ahead, it's pretty affordable, and more important- it's DELICIOUS. I had a club sammich and chicken queso soup and they were both hearty and filling. No returning to work on an empty stomach after a trip to TY'S.
The best chicken salad sandwich in the world. You really can’t lose no matter what you order, but the chicken salad will change your life. They’re also lightning fast.

My wife and I grabbed a quick lunch at Ty’s on a recommendation from our hotel valet one block away (the valets eat at Ty’s almost every day). The soup and sandwich were made to our specific needs; they were VERY mindful of my wife’s meat allergies. We highly recommend Ty’s!
Walked by this place many times. Finally went in, and I should have been going here all the time. In 5 minutes I had my salad, and was on the way back to the office.And the salad was great! Bonus: No Tourists or Woo Girls!!!!
Great little shop that makes up some amazing sandwiches!The store may be small, but the sandwiches are big! And the staff are full of smiles and helpfulness.They offer a larger variety of bread than most places, you can actually get black Russian bread here!Really good meat selection as well, and the prices are on par with with other sandwich shops in the area. Only thing is, Ty's is better.
Walk too fast and you'll miss it! Great team and LOVE the fact that they let you try the soup! Sooo good and fresh!
