I felt rushed through my meal. My server was giving us our checks before clearing dinner and bringing our deserts. Not sure why he needed to clean the floors next to me while I was still eating , butâ¦
It's difficult to complain about a restaurant these days based on service. The service industry is very stretched and I get that but supervisors still need to take the time to train their workers. Since our server lacked knowledge about the rosé available by the glass and the bottle, we asked that he find out more. He returned to our table telling us he tried the wine at the bar and gave us his impression. The bar could instead have sent tastings for the guests. The bottle we selected was the more expensive of the two rosés available. Our server struggled with the corkscrew, seeming to have never opened a bottle of wine before this one. He then broke the cork in two, eventually removing it without leaving pieces behind and left the table without serving the wine. Our food was tasty but not amazing. The restaurant has "no sharps" so my friend struggled to slice the medium well prepared steak she had ordered as medium rare. The veggies in the curry were too few for the entrée while the shrimp were perfect and abundant. Not my best True Food Kitchen experience. Probably better options in Green Hills.
Dumplings were amazing. As was watermelon lemonade.
I only wish a True Food Kitchen would open up in Franklin. I love this place! One of my favorite restaurants anywhere!
We truly enjoyed Sunday Brunch and our visit today was great! Our experience was fabulous, meal, presentation and service from Madison!! Hands down if itâs like this all the time weâll be back a few times a month for brunch! Thank you
This was a pleasant experience and John the server was very personable and attentive. Thank you John and True Food Kitchen.
Good food, great service from Walker.
I always have a great dining experience at True Food Kitchen.
Prices are too high for what you get. Great location is saving them.
We have visited a ton of TFâs locations and have always loved it. While visiting Nashville we enjoyed the food but a note to upper management: * Service was extremely slow, our food took 45 minutes to come out. Our waiter, while very young, was very attentive and apologetic but he clearly needed a little help. Employees are always awesome at all TFâs but not sure what happened with the kitchen being sooooooo slow. Even the table next to us was making comments since no one came to take their drink order for a good 10-15 minutes. Woah! * Had the chicken Parmesan, delicious EXCEPT the chicken was very tough to cut and chew so I left half of it. Flavor was delicious and onions with broccoli was a huge hit, yummm! We asked the winner for a steak knife so I could cut my chicken and he said they had none. Ufff!
