Excellent Food! And a ton of it!
Let me start by saying give this place a fair shot. The burger was good. The only reason for it being one star is my wife is from Argentina. We were trying to find a Argentinian restaurant. We really wanted lomitos which is a argie style sandwich. So we drove from Clarksville to have the wind taken out of us and our souls crushed in the blink of an eye when we discovered it was a Mexican restaurant. They had lomitos posted on their menu and when we asked it didn't even exist . My poor pregnant at the time wife was in shambles. Fortunately the location was pretty nice the Latino market had some cuban and Columbian sodas we liked and the plaza had live entertainment which was pretty great. So Fortunately the trip didn't go completely wasted. Please change the label to the proper country of origin and don't say you sell lomitos if you don't.....?????
bad place to eat, bad food ... they should change the name of gaucho, it doesn't have any gaucho food. No recommend
Meat was dry and overcooked, messed up orders… as a native from Argentina, this is a disgrace
This is not real chimichurri. Argentinians don’t cook or serve plantains and pita bread lol
Excellent food and service
Great food, good service. Nice setting in plaza with live music. The steak and potatoes we're very good.
One of my top locations for argentinian food. I was so stuffed. I'll return friends next time. It has a nice atmosphere. I can see why they have so many great reviews.
I visited Brazil several times. The taste of picanha here brought good memories back. Sure, meat is not the same, but flavors are there!
If Tres Gauchos had any struggles of daily operation in the past, those have all been alleviated now. My experience was wonderful and they’re handling the pandemic well and appropriately. I walked into the Plaza Mariachi center looking for lunch. A beautiful young lady cheerfully took my order, which was processed quickly and efficiently. I decided to try the hamburger and the chicken wings. The hamburgesa was a thick, half-pound beef patty cleverly seasoned with a brilliant flavor. It came with a fried egg, a buttered bun, lettuce, and tomato. Admittedly, I was also hoping for the pico, cotija, and remolade that appear as toppings on the menu version. They were absent, and they might simply be out of certain condiments as the coronavirus persists. But that didn’t detract from the satisfying taste! The chicken wings are smoked until tender, and then fried for a lovely crisp red exterior. Oh they were delicious! They were missing the tequila lime dressing, perhaps another casualty of the pandemic. It’s not uncommon to alter one’s menu these days. But they were undeniably tasty! A nice surprise were the hand-cut potatoes that accompanied both entrees, fried just enough for that crispy edge while soft and tender on the inside. I think almost any dish will come with these little gems. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Tres Gauchos!
