Clean. Friendly. Tasty food. They honor special requests (e.g.: no cilantro, no jalapeño). Their fresh-made guacamole is great. AND, they keep the background music in the background, where it belongs (i.e.: it's not too loud). Tony's has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Nashville area.
The meals themselves are priced fairly but everything else is absurd. I asked for a tiny little plastic cup worth of cheese. Was charged about 5 dollars for it. No they did not tell me I was going to be charged for it. And had to wait to flag down the server about 10 minutes for the check. All in all was not a good experience. The food isn’t seasoned well, the condiments are insanely priced, the food is oily. Take your money elsewhere.
Me and my fiancé came in for Mexican. I have been here before with my old friend of mine. But, this times experience was HORRIBLE! I got the cheese dip, looked so runny and microwaved. Also, it took about 20-25 minutes just to get chips and salsa & drinks! We got sat right away, but a family of four with two kids and also another couple AFTER us got the “full service” before we got our own food. When we sat there for another 25-30 minutes waiting on our food. The manager or somebody came to our table to tell us that the kitchen somehow loss our ticket. But it should be out shortly…. We were finally getting out food. But we were irritated so bad, we got it to go. Would not recommend.
Wasn't impressedExpected something better. Asked for hot sauce and was charged but Not told that it would be a charge. Noticed that they charged $2.50 for a side of sour cream or a side of guacamole... That's ridiculous!I won't go back and I will Not recommend. I've had better tasting food and prices!
Upon first impressions Tony's doesn't charm you with Mexican name, decor or authenticity. The dining room feels like a open retail space with fluorescent lights. But, once you sit down over a drink and listen to uplifting live music then you realize its charm. The food doesn't have your "typical mexican" flavor, it has its own flavor; A Tony's flavor. We got huge portions of delicious food. I recommend the Pollo Chipotle with creamy Chipotle sauce.
This is our go-to Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is so nice and welcoming. We eat here often and we are never disappointed! We always have leftovers too. This is a huge plus!
First, we love the food at Tony's. My favorite is the chicken chimichaunga. Tonight I tried the chicken burritos- also excellent. The big problem is the take out orders. At least three times we have ordered take-out, arrived at the expected pick-up time, and the order has been misplaced, not prepared, or not received. If we wanted to sit in the restaurant and wait for our food, we would eat at the restaurant. Sadly, unless we plan on doing that, we will order elsewhere.

I walked in and waited to be greeted. Instead the employee at the bar looked at me then proceeded to talk to the person next to him. I just smiled and assumed he would step over because he saw me. The employee never walked over to me. I sat down and no one ever acknowledged me. I got up and left and I won’t be coming back.
Ordered cheese dip and there was a long hair in the dip! They charged me 4.99 for the dip anyway. I had to say something to the worker again, to get him to take it off! In actuality, the food should have been discounted. However, I have dined here on several occasions and haven’t had any issues until today!! I feel nauseated!!!
