Great hole-in-the-wall with lots of history, professional darts and jazz jams on select nights
Great bar - super friendly. Proper dive bar!!
Welp this is a pretty solid dive bar, got all the classic staples like a frantic but easygoing bartender, a jukebox that I think was working, and 100s of old Polaroids from the 80s-90s, some signed dollar bills, etc. We loved everything about this bar and although we did not have the famous gumbo there were several people eating it. Beer and seltzer place only. Their board games (we played Trouble and Hangman) had all the pieces which was a big plus. They have free darts and 4 dart boards, keep in mind Tuesday around 7ish it is packed with dart league people. Great spot, local’s place, we will be back. Oh also you get a free dog bowl full of beer on your birthday!
One of my most favorite restaurants. We travel a lot and I try to find the unique places and this is one for the books. I can’t spoil it all for you. You just have to go and see it for yourself! Food was AMAZING! Service was good as well. My drink wasn’t what I would say top of my list, but that was poor choosing on my end! Go and dine here you won’t regret it!
Stopped at The Villager our last night in Nashville, but I wished it was our first night! Rhonda was super friendly and Andrew gave us some history of the tavern and neighborhood. Already had lunch, but took gumbo home to enjoy after our 9 hour drive the next day. It will definitely be our 1st stop the next time we visit Nashville.
I must say they have the best roast beef sandwich I've ever eaten. (Po boy)It's a local dive bar with very friendly people.
You want to play darts? You want to eat some gumbo? Want to drink some beers that cost tree fidy? Want to play some darts? Want to run a board?. You may find yourself watching some old school TV. You may find yourself playing some darts sharks You may ask yourself how I got here and it was this review.
10 out of 10. Made me feel at home.
Cool dive bar, with great food and awesome service. The only place to go when it comes to darts.
First time here today. Thank you Scott! The sandwich and gumbo were awesome!
