Sharon was phenomenal by all means!!! I took my girlfriend to this elegant restaurant for her birthday. It blew every restaurant in Tennessee out of the works. From the moment the valet took my hand to lift me out of the car, the upscale server Heath, the amazing hosts, and they made sure it would be a moment to remember. Thank you all for your service and making us feel welcomed.
I can not say enough about how wonderful our experience at The Standard was! Outstanding service, excellent food and what a personable experience. We absolutely loved our evening and felt like it we were true guests of the hosts. We highly recommend The Standard.!
This is so much more than a restaurant...it's a Nashville treasure; an experience that shouldn't be missed! We arrived early to savor a classic martini as our aperitif; from start to finish my wife and I were greeted by each member of the team and treated as royalty with a level of kindness from a bygone era of courtesy that is rarely seen, even in the world of hospitality. I must mention the butter than is infused with so much flavor is mind blowing; coupled with homemade bread...just incredible! We sarted with the Lobster Dip, paired with a glass of Malbec from Argentina. I couldn't resist The Standard Fillet, paired with a glass of Oberon cabernet sauvignon from Napa while my with opted for the rack of lamb. Chocolate torte for dessert with a cup of French press was perfect! Such a pleasurable evening; thank you to our servers and Mrs. Smith for a very memorable experience!

This was an exquisite dining experience. Starting with Kevin greeting us outside explaining a little history of this 182 year old Victorian building. Sharon Smith whoâs family owns The Standard is a warm & lovely host who guided us to their bar where Chris served us Champagne while we waited for our table. We were introduced to our serving team of Heath and Cole who both gave us excellent warm service. We shared the Rack of Lamb and The Filet Special which were the best I have ever had! I highly recommend The Standard at the Smith House for anyone visiting Nashville. Thank you for a great 30th Anniversary celebration!
