Wow! Really great southern vegan food. Staff very accommodating. The best vegan gravy I’ve had! Loved the chick’n biscuit. Definitely worth a trip.
Best vegan food I've ever had! The mac & cheese is my favorite. I wish there was a location in NC. If you're in the Nashville area, you have to stop here. I've eaten here plenty of times and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Very tasty vegan food with a good assortment of options to fit your taste. Clean restaurant with friendly service. Definitely worth checking out! Probably worth noting that indoor seating was unavailable as of July 2022. Outdoor seating is comfortable but, of course, subject to hot weather. Takeout is always an option however, and the food is definitely impressive! Great joint!Be kind and share love!☮️❤️?
I stopped here on a whim recently and left pretty happy. First and foremost, I appreciate the steps they are taking during Covid to keep everyone safe while still provide quality service. As far as the food goes, I got a breakfast biscuit (incredible), the cheesesteak (very good), and some chicken tenders (solid). For sides I got Mac and cheese, coleslaw and a bag of chips. The Mac and cheese was ok, it had an interesting flavor but I did like it enough to eat it. Felt the same way about the coleslaw.I thought the breakfast sandwich was incredible. The biscuit was fluffy and crispy on the outside, the egg flavor was on point and the the cheese was some of the better vegan cheese I’ve had. The vegan ham was also really good. I haven’t had actual ham in 20 years, but the flavor of the vegan ham was what I very vaguely remember actually ham to taste like. The cheesesteak was also really good. My wife and I are both from Philly so we judge cheesesteaks pretty harshly. I would give it a 3.8 outta 5.The chicken tenders were good, I liked the spice, but texture was a little strange. They weren’t really crispy enough for the amount of breading on them. The actual “chicken” part was dense and the outside was just thick breading. If they were crispier they would have been outstanding. All and all, I really did enjoy the food. I would absolutely stop here again. Probably would stick to the biscuits because they blew me away.
Hands down in the top 5 vegan restaurants we’ve tried. The hot “chikn” strips were amazing and the sides were exceptional. We had mac and cheese, turnip greens and baked beans. I had a chicken fried steak with mushroom gravy that was so good. Would have loved some mashed potatoes with it, but a minor point. Even though it was like a 95 degrees that day and and we were sitting outside in a sliver of shade, we didn’t want to rush a single bite. A bit out of the way, but so worth the effort. Almost reason enough to visit Nashville again.
I had been waiting YEARS to try this place, ever since they were in their adorable little building and I finally was able to try it last fall! They're hours are odd and we had to order online. I'm sorry but I just really didn't like it :/ I really wanted to like it but I don't see what the hype is...I ordered the tenders and mac n cheez with ranch. Everything was super salty and the ranch had this taste that I just really couldn't relate to ranch, it was just odd. The tenders looked like a solid slab of gluten that reminded me more of a flat vegan sausage and the coating was not crispy; it was more like chewy gummy bread as you can see in the photos. The mac n cheez didn't taste like mac n cheez at all, it was so salty I stopped eating it. Idk if maybe it's the workers or if these are their recipes but it just left this place looking highly overrated.
Vegan food that tastes great! The cook is very good at what she does. The Philly sandwich is superb! I just wish they were open more often.
I tell every vegan or vegetarian I meet about the hot chicken and waffles here. I think about it often! I stopped here on a drive cross-country knowing I’d find great plant-based chicken in this city and I feel truly blessed to have found V’s.
Completely VEGAN and absolutely freakin amazing.. Nashville Hot is exactly that HOT!! Staff is just spectacular.. LOVE this place..
So I decided to stop in to this place on Sunday (Thanksgiving weekend). I ordered something safe as I always do with plant-based food dives I have never tried before. The chicken sandwich was better than expected. And the greens were so good I was tempted to ask for the recipe. The only disappointment was the pumpkin muffins that I paid $8 for. One bite in, and I instantly knew of the familiar taste of the worldwide food franchise that specializes in bread (which by the way charges $2 less for the same muffin). It would have been nice to taste an authentic muffin made in house. But overall the service was wonderful. I would almost definitely go back again to explore their breakfast options.
