It was a beautiful experience with a friend who never been but spoke a little Thai as well. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the service was nice and professional. I ordered the Pad Thai and my friend enjoyed the Chicken Satay. The Pad Thai was better than expected ? ? sweet but yet nourishing to the body and satisfied my craving. The chicken satay was sweet as well with tender chicken and pineapples to balance the textures and sweet to salty ratio. I would recommend this place to everyone who's a foodie and enjoys culture. Haven't been to place in awhile and now I can't remember why it's sooooo good. Plus the portions of food was enough for 2 people. Bless up ??
A small place with amazing food. Reasonably priced as well. Accidentally discovered and was found to be having an amazing variety of food.Food lives up to our expectation of Thai food, because at various places claiming to be genuine Thai food, we have felt cheated in the past. This place was excellent. Good portions were on the higher side. Two dishes for 3 people Should suffice.Ample parking space, does not take reservations and serves very good quality authentic Thai food. Not far from the freeway too. Just 8 miles inside.Has received multiple awards in the past.Must go to place if one is in and around Nashville.
This has got to be one of the best Thai restaurants that I have ever visited. The server was prompt friendly and very informative. Most items on the menu are vegan accommodated. The alluring smell coming from the kitchen filled the restaurant and the street. Lemongrass soup was well seasoned their spring rolls were bright fresh and crisp. The bao buns are to die for, I recommend the pork and cabbage. Pad Thai was so good it almost made me cry.If I ever visit Nashville again this is my spot
By far my favorite restaurant. Wish I had found it sooner! This hidden gem has the best authentic Thai food you will find in town!! Must try!! You won’t regret it !
Love this place. Probably my favorite Thai in the city. The papaya salad is amazing!! Definitely worth a try if you haven’t ever had it. I also love the cashew chicken here but get extra peanut sauce!!!Service is just fine. Quick, efficient but don’t come expecting 5 star table-side service as that’s not the point of this place. More of like a hole in the wall with amazing food and nice staff!!
AMAZING!! When you walk in the vibes are just so cozy and honestly it transported me back to Thailand. Recommend getting dishes to share bc the portions are huge and well worth the $$. We got the pad Thai w green bean noodz which are wider than rice noodles and they tasted amazing without being too filling! Karee curry was our second dish, also super flavorful. Had to make room for mango sticky rice and OMG. I’ve never had it where the rice isn’t a firm ball. Also never had it warm, usually cold or lukewarm at best. It was. So. Good.Service was great and prompt, loved hearing the aunties yell out in the kitchen. Loved my entire experience!
We placed an order for pickup and everything came out right! The portions were big and the food smelled and tasted delicious. Here’s what I tried:- Tom Kha ($4.95, or +$3 as part of a set with dish from signature menu): So warm and comforting!- Smiling Elephant Pad Thai with chicken ($15.95): Super good! I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s the best I’ve ever had though.- Pad See-Ew with chicken ($15.95): Delicious!- Red Curry ($15.95): Very good!- Fresh Roll ($4.95): Fine, but I don’t feel the need to get it again.I recommend Smiling Elephant!
Hands down one of the BEST Thai restaurants in Nashville. Cozy seating in a small restaurant but it works. Parking is limited but totally worth it. Service is fine but the food is AMAZING. Great flavors all around! The noodle portions are massive!
This restaurant was very accommodating. We asked to place an order for six people and they were more than happy to take it over the phone. The portion of my pad Thai was very generous. Although there was only a few shrimp - They were huge. First few bites were good but after that I wasn't feeling it. Mussels were good and had great flavor. The spring roll was also good. I was only able to eat one.IF I am ever back in Nashville and in the area AND craving Thai I would like to order something else off the menu. Otherwise I would not recommend my meal.
Excellent Thai food - one of the best in Nashville. Everything seems to cooked fresh and with authentic flavors. Good all around service. Seating is slightly limited, however we’ll worth the wait.
