Food was very very mediocre, borderline nasty. I got the curry chicken, which was very dry and lacking.Normally at Caribbean restaurants, they give you a good amount of rice and meat. But this one is different. They gave me a small portion of rice and peas, which some peas were not cooked thoroughly, and they gave me like 3 plantains. And the plantains were not cooked thoroughly, either. Imagine tasting a done outer part but biting into an uncooked inner part of the plantain.LmAlso, macaroni taste like cheap, stove top macaroni with too much salt and Caribbean spices. It was so nasty I couldn’t even eat handle that in my mouth yet some stomach.
The food was absolutely amazing!! My boyfriend is from Guyana and he said the food was exactly what he grew up with. Will definitely be back!!
My grandmother is Jamaican and this food makes me think of her! So good! Chicken falls off the bone. Also had the rice n peas and cabbage and plantains. Perfection. I tried the BBQ Jerk chicken wings today for the first time and they were incredible! Mac n Cheese is the best! And they have Kola Champagne!!!!! My heart is full. I’ve tried their food truck and delivery. Both exceptional. Thankful they exist.
I tried Pepper Pott for the first time today. It was OMG so good. The oxtails and lemon pepper jerk wings were everything. I’m going again, like tomorrow.Order ahead and you won’t regret it.
I ordered curry goat and it’s been spoiled! It smell gross and taste even worst! This is the worst Jamaican food I’ve had ? 1/10 do not recommend
I was able to purchase some four cheese macaroni and cabbage and salmon from this company at a pop up shop this past weekend and when I say the food was so good I mean just that !!! The plate didn’t even make it home I was so sad that I didn’t purchase an extra plate for leftovers. The staff was so friendly and kind and I will follow them so I can support again . We ordered the Ox tails, mac and cheese, Cabbage, and sweet and spicy jerk wings. Everything was absolutely perfect. Seasoned and cooked to perfection
Been looking for a good Caribbean food place, which I expected to be tough in TN. This place is true to the core. Jerk chicken with the real spice, perfect brine and bbq sauce. Other restaurants tone it down for the folks who can't handle the heat, but not the pepper pott. Came back from some curry chicken and was equally happy. Much love from a fellow Trini.
The food was well seasoned, presentation was good and customer service and professionalism was excellent. So happy for this caribbean gem! I didn’t know that it was not a walk in restsurant and the owner was nice enough to explain and came out and took my order.
