This hidden gem is really great - the cocktails were on point and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was super cool!
A real speakeasy bar! Behind the velvet curtain was a dimly lit bar with a large assortment of bottles and a bartender with great knowledge of her craft. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she’s from Texarkana Texas and just amazing to watch her !! The expansive menu was fun to read and make selections. The meat and cheese board was delicious as well as the loaded tator tots. We had vodka, bourbon and amaretto sour drinks. Enjoyed the company and conversation of other guests at the bar. Just a fun place to visit and walking distance from our Graduate hotel.
Had one of the best bar experiences ever. It was in fact much better than most of the fancier places I’ve been to.The best thing was the bar tenders. Very attentive and felt very cared for (perhaps because it was a slow day? But still). The ambience and drinks were great and their meat cheese platter was excellent too.
Our sever Brandy was phenomenal!! She was helpful with drinks and suggestions about the town. Our drinks were inventive and well-balanced. The food was great and the ambiance was moody with great music. Definitely to be repeated and referred.
Visited the Patterson House while in town for a weekend away. I was pretty impressed with the atmosphere as well as the drinks overall. Started with a Modern which led to the bartender looking up the recipe on her phone which, frankly, I appreciated since I've been to more than one cocktail bar where the bartender makes the drink from memory and it's wrong. For my second drink I asked for an interesting riff on a Modern and got a really tasty result. Third drink I went dealer's choice and got something with a name that I can't remember. Maybe a Bitter Dave or a Bitter Tom or something? I can't remember but it was bitter. And good. The only thing I really didn't like was sitting next to people chowing down on food. To me, a cocktail bar is a cocktail bar and food doesn't really have a place at the bar but I get it and I knew they served food before I showed up so it was fine. Oh, I also didn't like that they borrowed a couple house rules from Milk & Honey for their house rules (sort of tucked away near the hostess stand). But cool. Milk & Honey was amazing. Glad to see some little pieces of it make their way elsewhere. Overall, nice place. I can't remember exactly what we paid but it seemed like maybe $110-$120 with tax and tip for three rounds of cocktails for two people. By the standard of any reasonably proper cocktail bar that's not at all unreasonable.
Cute, quaint, quiet and lovely! We had tasty tasty cocktails (both of vodka and gin) with the coolest, longest ice cubes (lol). The gin drink had an egg white which added creaminess and the drink was like a dreamsicle?? We also ate the loaded tots and would highly recommend those, too.Be sure to make reservations or you may wait a while regardless of open tables.
We had 7 people and we had to make a deposit for the reservation and it was never deducted from the check and the waiter said it would be refunded. Their phone number doesn't let you leave a message as the voicemail is not set up. I have Direct messaged on Instagram as well as email with no response. They had lots of whiskey and bourbon but they waiter knew NOTHING about the selections and didn't even say let me get someone else to help you. They serve small plates which were tasty.
This place was beyond amazing! Went here for our anniversary last night and it was better than I expected. My boyfriend makes craft cocktails for a living so I knew he’d enjoy it plus a modern rustic library vibe. It was the highlight to our trip to Nashville. We sat at the bar and Jerry took care of us. He was excellent! I can’t recommend this place enough!
Bacon Old Fashions are excellent. Great cocktails in a high-end but hip environment. Good place to have a drink with 2 or 3 friends but not a great place for large groups or if you intend to get loud. It’s more mellow.
We moved away from the area a few years ago and recently stopped in during a visit and the Patterson House did NOT disappoint. The servers and drinks were just as amazing as we remembered! Definitely recommend trying the deviled eggs and the pimento cheese dip if you're wanting a snack.
