Great food, service and atmosphere but know that it is pricey. Limited menu for vegetarians. Pasta dish that vegetarian in our party had was very bland (confirmed by others). Did the kitchen forget something? Everyone else found their dishes to be well prepared and very tasty. Deserts were very good as well. Over all a very enjoyable, but expensive, dinner.
Our server was very unfriendly didn’t explain the menu at all. We ordered pimento cheese beigets they were not cooked through. The dough was uncooked. The waiter never came back to check on us. Someone else brought out our main course which was shrimp and grits. We asked and would have paid for cornbread our waiter said “ well no, that will take an extra 20 minutes “ the shrimp and grits were swimming in a tomato sauce nothing like what we expected. We didn’t even eat the meal paid the bill and left. Very disappointed because in the past this was my favorite restaurant in Nashville.
Great food and drinks! The Paloma and pasta primavera were great! The service and experience was great! Not too busy which was nice!
Top notch service! Amazing drinks…. I recommend the Loretta Gin!! Shrimp and grits were incredible!!!
Good food, nice bourbon selection. And awesome staff.
Great brunch, great service. Definitely recommend
I wish there were more stars that I could give. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to a cozy table for 4. Our server, Trent, did an absolutely fantastic job of explaining their featured wine and signature Aged Old Fashion. Immediately, based on the way he described the drinks, our party got one of each. I'm not a drinker but was made a delightful tea of honey, lemon, some sort of blueberry bitters, and orange tea. Everything that Trent described, we wanted and literally handed him our menus and said "you pick". From freshly made cornbread (with house-made butter) to a juicy pork chop, every single dish that was delivered to our table was outstanding. Just as equally delicious as the food was the service and attention to detail. Trent was everything an amazing server could possibly be - knowledgable, attentive, and thoughtful. The General Manager came and chatted with us and was incredibly engaging and knowledgable of Nashville. His passion for the restaurant and the city was astounding. He is a true gem. Later, the owner/chef Trey stopped by and sat down with us for a wonderful visit. Being in the industry ourselves, we truly understand the constraints of time during the middle of a dinner service but everyone who stopped by our table was so incredibly genuine. We just wanted to hang out with their whole team. As we talked amongst ourselves at the table, we felt like we were living a fantasy because we were so blown away with the service and genuine attention the team was giving us, we didn't think it could be real. But it was. Every dish was better than the previous, which was impressive because the first dish was an explosion of flavor in our mouths. And every interaction we had was more genuine and more fun. We were so at home and so inspired by Farm House. They knock everything out of the park from service to food to decor to ambiance. We were in town for a restaurant convention and truly felt like this crew could have been featured speakers because THAT is how you run a restaurant. It was the perfect way to end our trip to Nashville. If y'all are ever in Nashville, please do yourself a favor and visit Farm House (or their sister restaurant Black Rabbit) and you will not be disappointed. Every aspect of the operation was spot on. We only wish we had more room to finish every dish and were in town for longer so we could return for another visit. From all of us to your entire team, we truly thank you for such a memorable dinner. We will be back every time we are in town. Keep doing what you are doing. Thank you and so much love.
We found ourselves without a reservation on a Saturday night in Nashville and stopped by The Farm House in hopes of finding an open table. They were booked for the night but the hostess told us she would text the two parties to make sure they were still coming and one of them couldn’t make it so we were able to get a table. The server was very nice and spoke very highly of entire restaurant family and recommended the shrimp and grits and trout, which we tried. We were not disappointed—both entrees were top notch!
Our first night in Nashville, we ate here and it was the best meal of the trip! Our girls group popped in just before 9 pm on a Thursday and the place was empty - great and fast service.I would highly recommend the grits, mac and cheese and deviled eggs. The absolute best thing we tried though was the bread pudding.
OH My!!! So I’m on a girls trip and we got a Uber from the Airport. In the car we started talking to the driver about what fun things we should do and talk about restaurants. He mentioned The Farmhouse. We made this trip at the last minute so reservations at a lot of other places were booked. Taking the advise of the driver we booked a reservation. First off the food was absolutely amazing! One of our friends is Gluten Free and they had a lot of options that made her feel incredibly happy. The Ribeye was perfection. The deviled eggs were amazing. Also the Bushwacker was a amazing drink… but let me tell you about the icing on the cake!!!!!!!!! Soooo the waiter Trent who was amazing to begin with comes us to us when we were done eating and starts talking to us about before and after he works he drives for Uber as well and lol he was our uber driver ( in our defense he was wearing a mask in the car so we couldn’t see his face) well he said he remembered one of the girls was talking about being Gluten Free so he went out that morning and got a Gluten Free desert for the table. We were all shocked. I have never in my life felt so impressed with a server. If you want to experience a absolutely amazing meal and a fantastic experience go to The Farmhouse!
