Holy Moly! I got a custom cake from The Cupcake Collection and everybody at my event said it was one of the best cakes, if not the best they have ever had! It was even gluten free and so stinking cute!!
Are you looking for a little taste of heaven? Something that is sweet and fluffy that’ll make your taste buds dance? Well, look no further! The Cupcake Collection is the place to go. They made wonderful, delicious cupcakes! My absolutely favorite is the sweet potato cupcake, it’s so so so GOOD! I am pretty sure that I will be having the Cupcake Collection creating a sweet potato cake for my wedding!
I love that this business is black owned. The reviews did not disappoint! Ordered a gluten free red velvet cake and it also came with a nice size sample. It was sooo good!! I can’t wait to try more options. My mom picked up the cake for me and she said the workers were so nice. Try them out!
A must visit cupcake shop here in Nashville. Their lemon Berry cupcake is absolutely delicious! They also have vegan cupcakes that they thoughtfully package separately when you purchase a variety of cupcakes. They don’t have dedicated parking but there is plentiful street parking nearby and the area is very walkable.
I absolutely enjoyed stopping by while on vacation. Everyone was pleasant and you can taste the love in the cupcakes.
I love, love, LOVE the cupcakes, especially the sweet potato one!! However, I stopped by last week to pick up 6 cupcakes, and the employee said "That'll be $22!" ? WHAT???!!! They're REALLY good, but.... that's excessive, especially since they're significantly smaller than they used to be! Nah...
This little cupcake shop occupies an old home built in 1900 on what was a quiet residential street back then, now nestled amongst the burgeoning apartment construction flooding the eastern half of Germantown. And yet, the Cupcake Collection retains the charm of yesteryear with its cozy interior, beautiful front porch, and that lovely red door beckoning customers. This local, black-owned business is doing everything right, from the decor and cheerful employees to the deliciously unique flavors and freshly baked cupcakes. It’s the only place in Nashville to snag a lemonade cupcake that I know of, with a frosting that really captures the essence of a tangy, lemony beverage on a hot day. The strawberry cupcake is a staple here, and it’s so fresh it’s like you’re actually eating a batch of just-picked strawberries! It’s absolutely brilliant the way this creation embodies it’s namesake, and it’s obviously made with real fruit. The red velvet cupcake is another highlight, rivaling the strawberry flavor for my undivided attention. The subtle cream cheese frosting and classic red velvet cake not as imposing as most is simply a marvelous combination. I don’t love the key lime cupcake, but there is so much to love about this place! The flavors are fabulous, the product is fresh, and the people are wonderful.
Found out about this place via Nashville Scene weekly magazine and glad it was doing a feature on this place. This is the only cupcake place I go to when I need my weekly (or bi-weekly when I'm bad) sugar rush. The employees are friendly and the prices are great. The cupcakes themselves are amazing (and full-size, which is a plus) and there are multiple flavors. Highly recommend.
My co-worker Janelle Raaen brought these to our meeting and told us Mignon’s story, half the meeting in tears and inspired. These are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had!
Gluten-free almost always tastes like sadness. I typically go without rather than choosing the gluten-free option, but for my wedding I wanted to be able to have cake too. Your gluten-free cake is hands down better than anything I have ever had-gluten or not. Your mammas are proud of you, cause I have never met you and I am proud of what you have managed to accomplish with cake confections.
