The staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the wine pairing were very well matched
Let me preface by saying we LOVE our previous experiences with Them. Also we completely understand the fact the building was sold and things happen.. but this is why our experience was no longer the same. After receiving multiple reminder texts for our reservation we show up early to find the place had moved- no biggie we made it there on time but none of the reminders included this change that happens just 2 months ago. Much bigger location but it lost its charm or being cozy and casual. Also you donât watch the chefs cook everything in front of you just a few apps and desserts with a big screen to watch for the kitchen. After being sat we were briefly greeted and brought waters. Couple next to us sits and is immediately greeted and doted on for her 23rd birthday. Sweet but - we also put that it was our anniversary- no mention of that to us. Kitchen and staff come to wish her a happy birthday- immediately gets drink order for them explaining the whole experience and menu. Then comes to us and the energy they had is gone- itâs just âhave you dined here before?â We say yes and that we are there for our anniversary. Asked about the move of locations and was given a shot and somewhat pushy- is what it is. I notice the tasting menu says no substitutions however in the past- due to allergies or diets they would very lovingly accommodate. We were told flat no so we had to go with the 5 course versus the 7 with wine. 3 of our tastings came well before our wines- we finished the first two before we got them. 2 of our dishes were cold- cold steak shrimp. What puzzled me is we watched the kitchen and never saw them make these dishes at any point while we waited which leads us to believe they sat in a window waiting a while. Couple besides us asked for a desert menu- waiter again is oh no worries we will take care of it for you pick what you want! Same to the other side for a birthday- nothing to us. Itâs not about free stuffWe just wanted the same treatment of feeling special
Our servers were some of the best I have ever seen. I believe he said Ivan (sorry if I got that wrong) Mike and others were wonderful. The food was a little too spicy for my wife but she said in retrospect she could have chosen different itemsâ¦I loved mine. Thanks for the love storyâ¦.the song should be Closer to the Heart by Rush. We will try to get this way again when we come back to Nashville.
Great fun place for dinner. Food is very good. Better than Etch where we went the night before.
Everyone, especially Rueben, was incredibly friendly. Food was amazing and the new location is perfect.
It was wonderful. The food was great and the staff was friendly.
Our favorite restaurant when we come to Nashville. Food and people are amazing.
I love the Chef and I, I'm never disappointed.
Food was great and the concept was fun but waiter did not seem to be interested. Usually they can make or break the experience and it was just bland. Plus the AC was down in the main dining room on the 1st floor. We could not do the tasting menu as it was centered completely on meat so we chose what was available to us from the main menu, also limited.
This was a very nice restaurant though very busy. Two of my companions ordered the chefâs choice and the delivery was sporadic. When it arrived it was good but one time they had to ask for their next plate. Maybe this was just a very busy night? If I am back in Nashville I would try it again.
