Great place to enjoy live music and a beverage. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The band Montage played their originals which was so cool - synthwave vibe. They sound amazing - check 'em out! The food was really good as well. I'll be back soon!
Excellent tacos, quesadillas, and coffee. Get the dirty horchata too. Can’t recommend this place enough!
I got the basic breakfast plate. I wouldn't go back based on that. It was cooked well and the salsa was the only flavor, definitely wanted more salsa. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Decent coffee.
Legit spot for tasty tacos. Have only enjoyed breakfast here but that’s literally all you need. Glorious selection of options to meet every desire. Take out process is easy and grab a dirty horchata if you need a kick. Not one thing to avoid on the menu.
Really great tacos and coffee, hard to come by both in one spot. Easily the best tacos I’ve had outside of South Texas!
TL;DR : For consistently great coffee, authentic Texas inspired breakfast tacos, and friendly service, look no further than Tempo!Tempo is really a hidden gem in Nashville. I Say hidden because I lived down the street from them for a few years before I realized they existed, but once I learned ??I go every week. I love that they greet me like I’m a friend or cousin. The coffee is consistently good. I love the breakfast tacos. Specifically the tortillas! So good. Every now and then my potato taco is a little too salty or something weird. But the success rate is about 96% and that’s a win in my book.In the summer time, the agua fresca was TO DIE FOR! I’m a person who always gets the same thing, but when they add new fun things to the menu, I always try it and it’s always great.
Their are not a ton of amazing unique Nashville places left but tempo has become a Nashville mainstay for me quickly. I truly love this spot these days. The tacos are Texas inspired and something I tracked down in Nashville as a person who loves visiting Houston for breakfast tacos. They are the closest I’ve had outside of Texas itself. The coffee is a star here specifically the Cafe Sua Da, a Vietnamese drink of condensed milk and espresso over ice. It’s absolutely delightful.
Great food and coffee. I love that they offer an 8oz drip, but $3.28? It’s just too expensive. I don’t make enough to afford getting coffee here.
The food is so good and almost every time I’ve gone since it opened someone compliments my appearance or something about me. Thank you all for the quesadillas and also self esteem boosts.
Great coffee shop with a fun, musical vibe. It was a nice change of pace to get tex-mex tacos with my iced coffee! Staff were very friendly!
