First off don’t let the stars fool you, I really like this place and feel it has a ton of potential. However, eight dollars for a basic IPA pour in a plastic cup is approaching airport prices. What’s more, the place is run down in nonsensical areas, i’m not talking the taproom itself, as I actually prefer a more rustic beer hall, it is details like missing handles on the main entry, and bathrooms that rival a poorly maintained rest area. What bothers me are areas I see approaching the kitchen, and I have been to rundown gas stations with more working fixtures and nicer lighting in bathrooms.Overall, the beers are still good, the only reason I come back are those, the good main taproom feel, and friendly service.
What a great place to stop for beer and a bite to eat! This place is full of personality including their staff. We were passing through coming from Pennsylvania and needed to take a break. As soon as we entered we were greeted and were given instructions on where to go and how to order (one bar for drinks and the other for food but you can have one tab between the two). The bartenders were helpful with recommendations! I personally always get a sampler and the sours were fantastic. The pizza was fresh and delicious so don't sleep on it.
I wish this place were in my town! The art, the food, the crowd, all perfect. They have multiple locations but we ran across the headquarters and decided to check it out. There were all types of patrons including young families. There was some sort of class going on in the out building on the afternoon that we were there. The whole place just had a really great vibe.
Great service and good beers. It is a pet friendly brewery. I liked the different areas and set ups. The food was good ??
Wow! Fantastic pizza! We had the California pizza and OMG was it good! Everything was fresh on it and even the crust had great flavor! We also had the spicy feta dip, it was great and not to spicy. The beer selection was fantastic! Prices on food or beer wasn't bad at all. Six pack was a little high but didn't stop me from picking one up.
I'd never been to this specific Tailgate Brewery prior to about a week ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how dope this place was. The artwork all over every wall is cool. I decided to work through the beer menu and try five or six different pints. The lines moved quickly, which allowed my hands to not have an empty glass for more than a couple minutes at a time. All the offerings I enjoyed were spot on for what I expect of Tailgate. I ordered from three different bartenders throughout the evening. They were all helpful and very friendly, offering suggestions when patrons were unsure of what to get. I didn't order any food, but several people in my party ordered a variety, and every bit of it looked/smelled amazing. The price point is well within reason. This Tailgate gets an "A" grade for sure. Highly recommend.
Great beer, great food, good environment. It's a must go to if in the area. As someone that loves PB, their PB milk stout is amazing! Pizza and loaded Mac n cheese waffle fries pictured.
Tailgate HQ is an incredible hang. Amazing beer and very good pizza, sammies, snax and soft serve. Super-friendly, helpful staff. Hubs says the reuben is the best in the city (bring back the reuben pizza please - it was INSPIRED). We love the backyard in the late afternoon / early evening. Lots of toddlers and doggies making the scene. A perfect Nashville original. So glad it’s just around the corner.
Sour selection amazing! Beautiful view when sitting outside. Amazing liquor shakes!
First visit! Enjoyable beers and service! Pizza was delicious. Will be back.
