Got food poisoning from sushi that was old. Last I checked sushi (fish) shouldn't be discolored and avocado shouldn't be moldy
We got takeout and it was truly great. In a town full of either WAY to expensive sushi or truly terrible sushi, this one stands out. We really blew it out and got way more than we needed (we were celebrating), and with tip walked away for $100. Quality was awesome, and the price was so much better than you’ll get at any other quality place in town. This will be our go to sushi from now on I’m sure, and it’s a 25min drive for us!
Ever since the son of the owner took over this place has really turned around. The only true all you can eat in Nashville, with really fresh sushi. Spoke with the owner about where and how he sources his fish, very impressive. You won't be disappointed.
Phenomenal experience, come here on a weekly basis and the staff always greets me and my party warmly.Very tasty sushi considering you’re in Nashville, not somewhere on the coast.Made to order and all you can eat, favorite spot in Nash for sushi.
Our server seemed agitated and rushed at first but it may have been because of how early we arrived. I spent 120 on sushi for 3 people it was my daughter's 21st birthday. The ingredients were for the most part ok but the salmon row tasted warm and kinda old. The flying fish row was good. I was sad they did not carry sweet tea for my daughter.....soda, water or booze or hot tea were the only drink options.
AYCE is $28 for lunch and $36 for dinner. It compares SUPER favorably to similar-priced sushi restaurants on the east coast -- excellent variety of rolls, attentive staff that tells you which roll is which, very good salmon and good sushi chefs.
Pretty good for the all you can eat. We ordered a huge spread and were able to finish it! My stomach was a little upset after, but not sure if it was the amount I ate or the sushi itself.Flavor of the sushi was decent. Some rolls were better than others. Nothing too notable. Looking forward to try other places to compare better.
Their sushi ingredients are very stale and they have a lot of rice. The All You Can Eat menu has few options, just two or three appetizers and no kitchen meals. The food was not delicious, and they had to charge the original price if they could not finish it. The business was not good and there were no other customers. In a word, the goods are poor and expensive, which is not recommended.
This place never disappoints. They do get busy so I aim for less popular times, but either way I always leave smiling.
I would not recommend this place at all. Sushi are not good and whatever we didn’t eat we were going to take it home since it says not to waste food they will charge us. We didn’t finished our food since it wasn’t that good so that’s why we decided to take it home instead when we never planned on taking home. They also didn’t said if we take it home they will charge us as well .50c per one slice of sushi… we ended up paying more than what we ate. Plus bad service the owner has the audacity of saying it’s our fault we didn’t finish our food. Who wants to finish your disgusting sushi? ?I fed my chickens with your leftovers. That’s probably why you don’t have much good reviews or people actually reviewing this place. Will never come here again and definitely not recommend. ???
