Some of the best vegan and gluten-free food I have eaten. The food was well flavored. The bakery cabinet offerings were spectacular! The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. A gem of a find!
Worth the wait. I was a newbie I came out of town from Cincinnati. The business had a mix up with my order. But they corrected it right away food and customer service was on point. Vegan and gluten free with tofu bacon on burger
This is a great all-vegan cafe with plenty of options for food and sweets, and although everything sounded so good, my family and I just went for dessert. The interior is also really nice, but we ordered our food to-go. Many of their desserts are different cupcakes, with great flavors and seasonal ones too. I personally got one cupcake and a German chocolate upside down cake that I LOVED! I highly recommend trying that dessert! The best part of this restaurant is that everything is kind to our animal friends as it is ALL vegan!
Oh man, Sunflower Bakehouse does it RIGHT! We’ve lived in the south, the west, and everywhere in between and by far, Sunflower Bakehouse has all the best from every place we’ve been to. From meals to sweets and to coffee, everything is prepared with excellence and is so delicious. We’ve got two with Celiac Disease and one with a significant nut allergy. Everyone behind the counter knew exactly what to do. Everything is gluten free which is super nice and helpful. Strong work Sunflower Bakehouse!
Gluten and Soy Friendly for the win!!! Some items do contain soy, so have to ask when ordering. Awesome Baked Goods!!! There's also smoothies, coffee, burgers, and other dishes available. We hadGerman Chocolate Cake, Cookies and Cream Cupcake, Pecan Cake, and Pineapple Parfait. The Pineapple Parfait was the best.
Ordered a vegan pineapple upside down cake for my wife’s Birthday. Delicious! Can’t believe it was vegan and gluten free. You got to try it!

I had seen this restaurant while driving and inteneded to eventually stop in. My daughter made it there before me and raved about their Pot Pie and Chick Pea Sandwich. So, I had to see what all the hype was about. I ordered the Pot Pie, it was good but not great. It was slightly sweet, probably from the carrots. The Chick Pea Sandwich was very good, BUT the Lemon Curd Muffin was excellent. I ordered a Lemon Curd and Choclolate Muffin to go and had the Lemon Curd for breakfast the next moring with a mug of tea, pure goodness. A few days later I went back to get another Lemon Curd Muffin and decided I would try the Chocolate Cheese Cake Muffin, that was good too. I bought a Lemon Curd and a Lavendar for a co worker, she loved the Lemon Curd but as of yesterday she has not tried the Lavendar. I will wait for her response on that one, But, it is looking like I will be trying them all. Sunflower got the vegan muffin right. They not only taste great, they look beautiful. I also had the Peach mixed with Ginger Kombucha, sooooo good!! I tried the Lavendar Kombuch too. Good Stuff!!!! I'll be back.
Wow! I am so impressed with my experience here. I was recently diagnosed with EOE. I'll spare the explanation, but to put it in relative terms I'm allergic to many foods but it isn't an instant allergy, it's a built up allergy so nobody can see what happens when I eat these foods it just destroys my esophagus and makes me feel like I'm dying later. I haven't really gone out to eat since my diagnosis because I get strange looks when I ask if any of my allergens are in any of their meals. I did not get that at all here! I already eliminated the 2 allergies dairy and gluten when I walked in the door but I simple asked about a few others and everyone was so kind and patient with me. I cried a little bit from feeling so much joy and I ordered a meal to eat, a meal to go, a coffee, and 2 cupcakes to take home. I felt like I was in Heaven! I wish I grabbed the name of the girl that helped me, i was so overwhelmed with excitement that i forgot to ask her name. She was seriously the best! Everything was beyond delicious and I felt safe eating it!
Friendly staff and great food/drinks! I come from a very rural area so it was great being able to experience a vegan eatery. There were so many great choices and it's a shame I don't live closer. I will definitely be stopping by when I go through this area again ?
