I recommend getting the vegan options! Healthiest options and tasty too! They have really good other food items too I hear. I loved the quinoa salad and the butternut tacos.
This restaurant is one of my favorite places in Nashville, the food is 10/10 and I have tried almost everything on the menu. This time I got a Churrasco with chicken. It’s rich and flavorful but a little messy (which I don’t mind because I love the chimichurri). The hot chicken sandwich is so good an so spicy, has a lot of flavor and is very moist, there’s nothing I would change. Subculture has the best hot chicken in town, period!
We were pleasantly surprised with our experience here. The food was DELICIOUS - we got the grilled chicken salad, a cubano sandwich, the quinoa salad, beef empanadas, pork ramen, and fries. All of it was worth trying!It's a small spot but they've got indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly and the food came out so quick! We will definitely be back here.
We have been coming here for years. During Covid we did take out as they do that well too. Everything is good and made fresh but we come 2-3 times a month for their hot chicken ramen bowl. We like spicy but always order this medium heat.
Nice little hole in the wall restaurant. Delicious food and great service. I recommend Hot Chicken Ramen - mild spice level. Wash it down with Wiseacre Tiny Bomb pilsner.
The food here is AMAZING! Everything looked and tasted incredible. We tried the empanadas, chicken tacos, burgers, fries and quinoa salad and it was all outstanding. It’s family run and the people there really care about the quality of food and service. They are doing a great job.

Delicious hot chicken sandwich. Medium was decently hot which I love. This is a hidden gem in this strip mall with local ingredients. Wouldn't be surprised if they eventually move into a bigger place and get even more popular because its really well done and affordable.
My husband and I tried Subculture for the first time and the food was delicious! We tried the Churrasco and Cheese Empanadas, and we’re beyond satisfied with the taste of our meal. Both the food and service were great! We will definitely be coming around again to try more cuisines!
Had the best meal of my entire life today. Chicken churrasco on a bed of greens with coleslaw. I hardly ever leave reviews but this was mandatory. The food was extremely fresh, beautifully plated and absolutely DELICIOUS. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Then do it again.
