We went for our anniversary. They made sure to acknowledged it and made sure we had a intimate table for two. Waitress was very friendly and on top of everything. Food was very good. Would definitely recommend. Would go back when we visit again.
Loved this place, from the interiors (old style tavern), the food and the personable and attentive wait staff. A friend recommended we go there and I was so glad she did. There were 3 of us and unfortunately we were only a bit hungry, so we didn't experience a lot of dishes or dessert, but my steak was done perfectly and the asparagus fresh and cooked well. Seems fancy, but not pretentious, so while it may be considered "fine dining", it is a more, cozy, old school dining experience.

Cant say enough about our Sperry's experience! A friend and I were in town for the weekend and a random conversation on our shuttle bus recommended Sperry's. Wow!! So many good things to say about the Atmosphere, bartenders, wait staff and, support staff! Our waitress , Rachel was terrific!! Fun personality! & Explained everything on the menu perfectly! The salad bar was full of wonderful selections. Our entrees (prime rib & scallops) were perfectly cooked with great presentations! Carrot cake & french- pressed coffees for dessert! Unbelievably delicious! We are happy to say we ate toooo much -- and enjoyed every bite!! Make time in your busy schedule & stop here!!
Some friends and I went for appetize rs and wine and it never disappoints. Limited but varied happy hour menu and prices are right for this upscale restaurant. I have been dining here for decades and it is a classic....consistent, good food and service. Dinner or drinks and apps always fun.
Wow! How stupid was I to pass by Sperry's for the past five years not really knowing what it was like inside this 50 year old gem. Boy, am I glad I made a reservation! What a classic and classy restaurant. Great old-school vibe like you are in New York or Paris. The food was amazing! The service was exceptional. It's just my new favorite place in Nashville. What a wonderful night. Thank you Sperry's!
WHAT A CLASSIC! Came here twice in the last two weeks. The first time I brought a friend from out of town who wanted to experience ‘real’ Nashville…and he fell in love. Tonight it was a birthday dinner for me. At first we were seated in the bar area and it was packed with Happy Hour gang and a little noisy, but mgmt quickly moved us to the main dining room so we could enjoy dinner even more. And enjoy we did. This place is just the best. Great food, excellent service. Very nice, but not too fancy. I can’t recommend it more. Truly a Nashville gem.

What an enjoyable evening. My wife and I took our friends to celebrate their birthdays. We were greeted by our hostess who was so pleasant. She introduced us to our server who was personal and so very attentive throughout out dining experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were large and delicious. We also tried the red snapper special. It was properly cooked and seasoned perfectly. Topping it off with deserts was the perfect way to finish our dinner. We will be back but they have certainly set the bar high for a repeat. Thank you Sperrys for a wonderful evening.
