First time there had great time. It was kinda being a Tuesday evening. The waiter was awesome and the food was great. I didnât like my drink and he brought me different one without hesitation. The live music was great. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made a point of recognizing us and even free dessert. Its a bit pricey for an average day but would definitely go back for another special occasion.

Great vibe but the food wasnât great. The sticky toffee bread pudding was the star of the show for sure. Overall the least favorite meal we had while in Nashville.
We make a habit of going out once a week for lunch. Sambuca came up on OT, so we thought weâd give it a try. In a nutshell, our waiter was wonderful, the brunch food was OK, the trio playing mainly R&B was great; but the main dining room is dark and dated. Maybe this place would be better after the sun goes down.

We reserved a table online, we arrived and was escorted to our table right away! The ambience was veryyyy nice. The live band (The Carl Stewart Band) was excellent and definitely provided a vibe that would bring us back for sure! The lighting in the restaurant is a little too dark for our liking. More dimmed lighting would've been top notch. Our waiter was horrible. We ordered our drinks and waited almost 15 minutes before he brought them; ordered our food and waited another 25, and he didn't check on us at all. No water refills, no napkins, no "how is everything?". Very attentive to his other tables however we for some reason were forgotten. So much so that we had to stop another server, a waitress whom was so helpful and had such a bright smile! She brought out our to-go boxes and took care of our check. Because of her + the atmosphere & food, I think we would definitely visit again and recommend this place to family & friends! The vegetable lasagna...omg WONDERFUL! The blackened red snapper was also absolutely delicious! Overall we'd rate the place 3 of 5 stars.
I have eaten at Sambucaâs a bit in the past few years. This time, I had an embarrassing experience. Halfway through dinner I realized I did not have my wallet. I went out and looked in my car, nothing. I approached the manager to tell him what was occurring. He said, â donât worry about it, enjoy your dinnerâ. He gave me his card and told me it was likely at home and when I found it, just call in the credit card number. He did not even ask my name. It was on my bureau and I called in my number. Aside from really great food, fast and friendly service, what a great group of people. They are without peer in the city.
