The food was great. There was NO COUNTRY MUSIC. NONE ! ! Also, we probably could have tolerated the music, but THERE WASNT ANY. Every single song was a drum solo. period. it sucked. we were here on Tuesday the 21st. evening at 5:00 pm till 7:30.
Great bar and grill with delicious food and drinks! The bartenders were super nice and very attentive. The rib wraps and pulled pork wraps were so good that we came back again just to pick those up. Highly recommend!
Nashville is wall-to-wall honky think joints, live music and BBQ so you kinda get to the pint thinking you can’t miss. Pick any, head in and enjoy. Unfortunately, Rippys is more miss than not-despite not being overly bad it’s not anything to write home about. Large (3 different bar areas including one upstairs on the open walled roof) but seemingly badly staffed and overly loud. Food was decent but you can find better, service was decent but a little slow and some of the other servers (not ours thankfully) look bored of the whole scene, and music was hot and miss (as is always the risk I guess) Wouldn’t go back but if you’re passing and hungry you could do worse (but you could do a lot better) Just a bit…”meh”
Service was the worst. The waiter treated us like children when we sat down where one of the staff sat us to watch the hockey game he suddenly took our menus and walked away saying they needed the table. I have never seen service like this before, Obviously so busy they don't need to treat their customers with any kind of respect. Everywhere else in Tennessee the service was AWESOME!
Food was not great, did not even get what we ordered. Service was horrible, people working there had a "don't give a shit" attitude. Do yourself a favor and try another BBQ place
I can't comment on the food, but you are shoehorned in here either upstairs or downstairs, and there are better places all round it.
I liked the group that was playing and was hungry. I had the half slab of ribs which the server indicated were meaty, but they were not. The greens were bitter with a lot of vinegar. The other food was good, but high priced at around $20 for what I got.
Good food, good service and multiple live acts performing. Two floors, each with live music. A great place to take a break from wandering Broadway for awhile.
The food was good, service okay…very casual restaurant… the place just didn’t feel clean to me. The live music upstairs was great.
Nice little place to stop. You have to be patient if its a bit busy. The food came right away once I ordered. The sweet potatoes fries were the best part. The meat was all pretty dry. It wasn't bad overall.
