Great rooftop, love the craft cocktails!
This rooftop bar has a partially enclosed bar area and when the weather is nice, the outdoor seating area is a great place to relax for a bit. They have comfortable seating and great views of the river area, Nissan stadium and the tall buildings in downtown Nashville.The drinks are a bit pricy at ~$16 for cocktails but it's not unreasonable for the area. They also off beer, wine, other drinks and small menu items. All the cocktails we had were good but I thought the Madison Peach was a particularly nice mix. I would definitely recommend it as a nice escape from the crowds in other bars and loud music that is so common downtown nowadays.
Very disappointed by the drinks here. I ordered a dirty martini and my wife ordered a Manhattan. Both were bad, especially considering they were $16+. We couldn't even drink half of them. The view is cool, but not worth it if you are looking for a quality cocktail. Also the bartender had a terribly sour attitude.
The food was good and the service by our waitress was excellent. The kitchen didn’t send out our group’s food orders at the same time so that was kind of a bummer. But overall great vibes and highly recommended.
Had a rye Manhattan. Dickel was offered. The drink seemed to be just whiskey with a very small amount of vermouth. No bitters and no garnish. 17 dollars after tax was a little pricey for what it was. The cocktail menu still had Christmas themed drinks in mid February. Very hip decor and nice view from the patio.

One of the most enjoyable places for Nashville city views. Looks east toward Nissan Stadium and the river. Terrace is wide and open.
Cute rooftop, no doubt about it. However I waited 45 minutes for a round of 3 drinks after I had paid for them already. I went up after 30 minutes to check on them and an employee said that her boss was making them as we speak. 15 minutes later, still no drinks so I approached again. At that time the employee said that her boss had just finished the drinks, so I waited.. just to watch him hand the drinks in his hand to someone else. At this point I asked for my money back and the employee said that she talked to her manager and that I would certainly get my money backon my card as the transaction was voided, since we did not ever receive our drinks. At this point in time (4 days later) my card has still been charged and I never received my refund on the card as promised. Had a much better experience in the basement at Hidden Bar and am jealous of anyone that has had a better experience than I at Rare Bird.
