We wanted hot chicken and this was recommend by the locals. It did not disappoint. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. It is freshly made so be prepared to wait. No problem. We know it was fresh! We did the kids meals and 4 piece tenders with fries/beans.I highly recommend the kids size, even as an adult it was perfect (2 tenders, choose your hot level, fries, and a drink). We will be back.

Several parts of our order were wrong. They forgot to give us the baked beans. One of the sandwiches was made incorrectly. We didn't get our drink cups. That being said the food was delicious!! Very hot and fresh. The chicken sandwiches were delicious. The hot chicken is in fact hot (but again excellent!). The greens were outstanding. Baked beans were good (but not great). They were out of Mac n Cheese which was disappointing.Based on the quality and deliciousness of the food alone we'd give Prince's a 5 star review but the misses on the order dropped a star for us.

The Original is always best hands down OMG. I had the 3 whole wings medium is was just right my other 2 had Hot one thought is great one thought it was too hot and my baby was disappointed he got x hot he wished he had chosen xx-hot.?‍♀️ P.S the Potato Salad is real southern soul food potato salad taste just like my granny's from Bama

Visiting Nashville and as a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken we were very excited to try the “original”. I got the mild tenders, they make it extremely hot so you can’t tell how horribly bland the chicken is. The portion of baked beans for $2.75 is laughable. If I had known it would be this bad I would’ve gone to chick-fil-a across the street. I wouldn’t even put this in my tip 25 list of best chicken, extremely disappointing and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The baked beans were definitely from a can and I don’t believe the chicken had any seasoning, the complete opposite of Nashville hot chicken. I can’t say enough bad things.

Prince's may claim to be the original, and who knows, but they're not resting on their laurels. Staff was eager to help, sample, etc.Kitchen is cooking to order, so expect a wait, but it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT.Son ordered half a chicken, daughter the chicken strips, spouse and I had sandwiches (Andre). I swear, even without the breading and hot spices, the chicken itself is possibly one of my top 10 favorite. It's so juicy and flavorful!Inside looked fun and all, but we chose nice weather and an over-packed parking lot out on the patio.Strong recommendation.

We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches & a side of macaroni to dine in. They brought our order to our table in at to go bag. We opened our sandwiches and were missing our slaw. So we had to ask for it and they only gave us 1. The macaroni & cheese was $3 for a tiny cup - not worth the money! The sandwiches were really good though.

Made the mistake of ordering the Hot XX chicken—a painful mistake. The food is out of this world good. If you want hot chicken—look no further. Prince’s is some of THE best in town—just stick to the hot. Trust me.

Consistently OUTSTANDING!!! I’ve tried all the so called NASHVILLE HOT imposters. But so far. O body beats Prince’s. More flavor (not just hot, it’s got real flavor that permeates the meat). Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Really quiet because everybody’s too busy sweating and eating.

This chicken is no joke!! We stopped on a Saturday afternoon so of course it was insanely busy and they were running out of sides. When the chicken is that good - it's worth the wait!

A visitor's authentic experience with Nashville Hot chicken, I hope. Prince's got so many good reviews I'm sure this one not gonna drag down overall score.(edit to 3 stars, after comparing couples other hot chicken restaurants, I think Prince is going for the HOT, 3 stars for the HOT)First of all, I'm very glad that the chicken are actually spicy. Many western good restaurants have a pretty weak "hot scale", The Andre sandwich is good and the sauce gives it good flavor. One star to that! The sides are pretty tasty, Mac n Cheese are light but still flavorful, you certainly can taste the creaminess and cheese flavor. Potato salad is also pretty good. So a star to that, even tho each little cup of side about $2-3 extra. That's okay, I don't mind as long as food is good. The chicken, since I order "Hot" level so I'm only reviewing this. I've read/heard good things about their fried chicken, they said chicken is cruncy(yes), juicy, flavorful. Honestly, beside spiciness and bitterness, it's pretty blend. And the bitterness is unpleasant, like when you burn the spice or ingredients with hot oil kind of bitterness. Other flavor profile: a mild hint of saltiness. There are no other flavor whatsoever, no sour, tangy, sweet, no umami or savory. So specifically what are the flavors that stands out or makes Nashville Hot chicken flavorful? Am I not supposed to order them hot because the peppers too overpowering? Or Nashville Hot chicken is all about that heat? (I tried the bread and no it doesn't have flavor besides butter and pepper).Need to prepare for the wait, I wonder if local residents have to deal with the wait daily, our ticket was printed 2:19pm, food was served 3:10pm on a Monday I don't mind the wait as long as the food is good. Oh well, unfortunately this time didn't work out.
