Get rid of paper straws. They are the worst, falling apart in less than 10 minutes. Many places are switching to plant-based straws if you want to avoid plastic and still have a useful straw.Everything else about Portland Brew is fantastic!
Snacked, sipped, got a little work done, and chilled here for a few hours as our last stop before we headed out of town from our vacation in Nashville. Quiet, good vibes, good prices, tasty drinks.
Customer service has been awful lately. I come into this coffee shop multiple times a week and every time the workers are grumpy. One of the workers said "what do you want" very carelessly and before I even got a single word out of my mouth. I have also witnessed them raising their voice to customers when people come in and have conversations with people like humans do. If you don't want people to talk in your shop then don't be a place that serves coffee and food. It makes me sad because me and my friends go here all the time and it's such a warm environment with good cheap coffee but lately the workers have been treating me and others poorly and I don't think I will go there as often anymore.
Coffee is very good. Got the Iced Caramel Cream and could taste both coffee AND caramel, neither was overpowering. Tasty sandwiches served on your choice of bread, including sourdough ?. Had to knock one star for slower than anticipated service and once our sandwiches were brought out (13 mins) we had to remind them that we ordered coffee as well. They had stated that they would bring it all out to us, therefore we didn’t wait at the counter.
Friendly staff, great food, and delicious brew. Cold Brew is smooth and not bitter. One of my go to places for 12th South and East Nashville.
Absolutely love the coffee here, the place closes by 5 be sure to come by early.

Great coffee, great prices, in a relaxing environment. Outside seating is dog friendly as well.
Stopped here for quick coffee and breakfast. Service was quick, coffee and food were really good!!
