This place is wonderful! My family and I enjoyed eating while taking photos with characters, getting our daughter’s face painted, dancing to music, and watching Lion King. Oh! And the Nashville Zoo show, and the magician. Incredible! What a fun family experience. We especially loved all the ethnicities coming together to have a good time! We also shopped at the grocery store and bought coffee. Love international experiences!!! The management is rocking it there!
Plaza Mariachi was an amazing experience. It was loud when they started the music, but other than that, it was great. We were there on a Wednesday night which is family fun night. That night they had a science demonstration that was engaging for the kids.We looked at the schedule and there’s a WIDE variety of shows, activities, and events. Definitely look at what’s coming up to see what suits your fancy. My kids (ages 5 through 11) loved the play area. They wanted to go back as soon as possible. There are a bunch of shops that sell food, desserts, clothes, and jewelry, too.
Thursdays are for salsa night . A must visit if you like dancing and want to do it with random strangers ?.There are some local restaurants open for Mexican food and drinks . We got the margaritas pitcher and some fresh tacos.A little pricey but worth it if u love song and dance
What a great place. Not a lot of vegan or healthy convenient options. Although the entertainment is awesome. I hope they continue to bring in local acts and talents with a few more positive food choices.
Almost feels like you entered a mini version of an ultra touristic spot of Mexico.Worth the visit just to see as it just a unique experience.
Security are dumb as hell, I paid my entrance, went through the metal detector and everything was fine, as I am walking to the bar (which makes horrible drinks) some idiot from security pulls me to tell me that I got in from the side door and needed to pat me down again, and was very insisting not letting me keep walking. They later were taking some drunk out and pushed somebody else and made him fall and he didn't have anything to do with the situation of the drunk one. It was supposed to be "Reggaeton night" and the DJ played 2 Songs only and everything else was rock music and techno, the worse DJ I have ever seen. If you advertise something, do it right and hire a DJ that knows how to play that type of music. Horrible place, horrible organization and worse security, basically thugs in uniform.
So happy we found this place. Definitely not what we expected to see in Nashville. The entertainment and food were great. Especially the ice cream. I truly hidden gem in Nashville.
Amazing place with a state of the art sound system in the food court, lovely restaurants, fun shops, kid arcade, market. Live entertainment many nights per week. Tonight was Salsa Thursday, with lessons before and DJ. They regularly have dance groups, bands, face painting, aerialists, Nashville ballet, etc. I'll be there March 17th, 2022 to play Irish music with my band, The Secret Commonwealth. And I will stay for Salsa dancing. ?
Great. Surprisingly not crowded. I went for Juicy Seafood carry out. They have great food and service at a good price. I've never had a long wait for my food there and the staff is professional. There are also other restaurants in the plaza that I intend to try because I have an adventurous palate. There's an Indian, Peruvian and Mexican restaurant in the plaza. I also did some shopping and got a unique hat, but also saw jewelry and other clothing available.
Very nice mall/ venue. If you haven't been, you must go. The design of the place is very cool. We went to a show after the mall closed and it was well done. Seating was great. A bunch of TVs around to watch the event from all angles. Bars and food service were set up nice. The security was unprofessional acting and had a sloppy appearance, but I'm assuming they were contract labor and not with the mall. I saw a new security vehicle out front, hopefully the replacements.
