The absolute best hot chicken I've ever eaten. Plenty of heat levels for any range of tongues. The tender royale is too die for (if I keep eating them I probably will).
We're in town from Florida and wanted to try Nashville Hot chicken. Google reccomended this so we gave it a try. We ordered multiple different dishes.. tenders, sandwich, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, Apple jack sandwich and some sides. Everything was delivered hot and still very crispy. It was all delicious!
Chicken was good, seasoning was great. They brought the heat, I got the second heat level from the bottom. Only complaint is I prefer dark meat not a breast fan. Sides was okay
It's takeout only, but the hood of the car made a great picnic table. Had the second to hottest level and it was awesome! Carolina reaper peppers with a fantastic taste, not just heat.
Little pricey. smaller menu than the other location, but very tasty!! Very friendly staff!
The good: The chicken, way better than the garbage Hattie B's sells. This chicken is actually good, and has flavor. It's not just about heat.The bad: Posted hours say they close at 7pm. They actually close at 6:30pm. Wish they were open later, I realize they are having hiring issues (noon to 7:30pm may be better than 11am to 6:30pm though ?♂️). Also no places to sit in the foyer if you're a walk-in.Hope to come back when they are open later. Very difficult for me to go before 6:30pm.
Just tried my first meal with cucumber salad. Since first time, I ordered "training ...?" Found it to be the right heat for me. Nice portion tender with seasoned meat, not just spice. Salad could use a little more something for flavor. My slice of bread was stale. If not for the latter two issues I would have given it a 5. Yes, I would return hoping I just caught them on a not so good day.
Expected a warm welcome rather than a will be with you in a minute. Chicken was great! Fries just so so (McDonalds much better), Mac n cheese a real disappointment (dry lukewarm and needed spices). 3 votes to go to Guy"s will try another location. Felt like a fast food place for $40 plus.
Great Nashville Hot Chicken, once again. Easy ordering in app, quick pick-up, wonderful sides, too. Legit. Please, do NOT go to Hattie B's or Party Fowl, even though they do the most marketing. Pepperfire and a handful of other places blow them away.
Been a big fan for several years now. Missed my Tender Royale in a major way. We're super glad that you're back! We've missed y'all and bringing our out of town guests to visit. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings for Pepperfire! Keep up the great work ?
